a little experience from 6 months old ring noob you can take a reference: 1. Train around the ring set-up. Setting up the rings is really a pain. For each ring height, you should imagine and choose exercises around the height, especially if you train more than one muscle group in a workout (upper/lower, full body to name a few). If you follow PPL split, you don't have to worry so much about that 2. Inverted hang and dip support hold are what noobs should master first. They are key starting positions for many fancy skills you will achieve in the future 3. Do not go so hard on the rings. The working weight on many exercises on rings are still the same in similar body angles, but they will be extra hard since the instability factor kicks in. But that is stupid beneficial for strength training and mass-building as well, feel free to take 2-3 minute breaks when you just start out, 5 even better.

8-12 is a good number to aim for. Floating pike pushups are always a little difficult

Can i do the Pre-Req Workouts with rings only too? Instead of the Pull and Dipbars to save money and space
@STRIQfit4 ай бұрын
You could if you feel comfortable! It’s much more difficult doing dips on the rings but if you feel like you got it and you have enough strength for it then Go for it!

Hi STRIQfit, I have been watching some of your videos lately and honestly it is very helpful so keep going, you are doing great!! I started calisthenics a year ago but I was very inconsistent. I am starting at it again with the intention not to quit and hopefully achieve some goals like unlocking different skills and stances. Now that I started again I became very sceptical about my workout program and don't really know if it is a good one or if I should change it. I would like to know if you could help me out. (Also I have a suggestion, would you consider starting a discord server to get the community active so we could help each other out. We could also share some progress with each other etc.)

Thank you for the kind words and support! 🙏 I’m glad the videos have been helpful, and I respect you for getting back into calisthenics with a fresh mindset-consistency is key! 💪 I’d be happy to help you out with your workout program to make sure you’re on the right track and achieving those goals. Feel free to reach out with the details, and we’ll get you sorted! I do have a Discord server where the community can connect, share progress, and help each other out! 💪 You’re more than welcome to join and get involved. Let’s keep that consistency going and work on unlocking those skills together!

@@STRIQfit Alright, thank you very much!! I appreciate the hospitality very much! I am more than happy to join the discord server and hope for a wonderful calisthenics journey with the community. I will reach out to you on discord if that is ok for you? Again, thank you!
