The reason a lot of people can’t love themselves is because they’re still actively doing shit that works against being the best version of themselves. You can’t love yourself when you know you aren’t being the best version of yourself. And that doesn’t mean being some super fit, rich charismatic entrepreneur. It just means not repeating those same actions that you know are not good for you. If you want to be at peace with yourself and love yourself, you have to work for it. And that applies to me as much as it does to anyone reading this. I still know I gotta be bettering myself, it’s just a process.
@slackstarfish8133Ай бұрын
@@M4R77real shit. You probably just got deep-rooted stress you aren’t even fully aware of. Everyone knows about school related stress, but when your constantly in a state of stress, it builds up to the point that even when you have time to breathe, your not actually relaxed on the inside. I’m certain Im stressed as well. It just puts you into bad habits because it gives you moments to take your mind off things. You just gotta be aware of how you’re really feeling and take shit one step at a time.

Bpd sucks, you got this though, im pretty sure i have bipolar all my family does, which I know isn't the same thing, they're kinda similar, but bpd is basically bipolar on steroids, somethings that help me is working out, or bettering myself in general. Also it sucks being a teen, especially during these times.

@Ok_waffle I can sympathize with that sweetie. I am 73 and I well remember the turmoil of the 60"s. Today is much worse for sure. Be careful who you keep company with. Some people bring you down. Look for those willing to have intellectual conversations and that lift you up. Keep the drama queens n kings outta your life. 👍

@@debbiechadwick861 Just because things seem to suck now, doesn't mean it hasn't before though, I'd say it's a bit easier now, then the 60's tbh, you fellas had it rough, I'm glad to have had this little discussion with you though, it shows me that not all older people hate us lol.

I've been exposing myself to uncomfortable situations slowly but surely, and am working on loving myself as I navigate these experiences. You reminded me that I need to sit with myself and FEEL these experiences as they're happening, rather than shutting down in order to get through them. Thank you for sharing your wisdom with us.

Your channel, words and encouragement really helps me. Especially as someone who has gender dysphoria it’s hard to love every stage of my body when its harder to get to a body that’ll allow me to love it easier. I try to love every stage of my transition and non-transition, especially when people try to love me it gets hard, but doing something nice for me has really helped me sort of get to an okay point, like saying to my brain “hey maybe we do deserve some good”. I wanna feel life, I wanna feel the good, the bad, the neutral. I wanna feel, but not let it control me.

Loving yourself is only toxic if you seek narcissistic traits or style. If you think about the people who you admire and love yourself, and then model and love those same parts of yourself you can have immense amounts of love for yourself without being IN LOVE WITH yourself. This is key to really living a good life! Thanks for sharing on this topic! So many of us struggle with this!

Don't ever stop making videos brother. I know it's just the ego telling you that but it's these kind of messages that change people and help them have an awakening. You have popped into my life at just the right time. I've been going through a spiritual awakening over the past few years and it's been quite the journey. I am self employed and have been subconsciously sabotaging myself and my success because I have not been loving myself properly. I am going to focus on that and be grateful that I GET the opportunity to fill the eggs in MY own basket. I love you man. I hope we get to cross paths in the real world some time. Tanto amore bro❤

i believe the way to love yourself is to keep saying positive affirmations of the person whp you wang to become and by time you will succeed. it also takes alot of small habits. example if you feel like you could lose a bit more weight then start going to the gym or eat less. musician? start practicing that instrument daily and dont expect shockibg results. fall inlove with the process not product.
