Thank you! You literally covered all my concerns. I am 49 yo on 0,025 mg estradiol transdermal and 100 mg progesterone. I feel good, no cracking (literally) sound on my feet after nighttime, no sugar cravings, water retention and moodiness. And I sleep like a baby: yey progesterone😊stay healthy Ladies!

Her course for providers is hands down the most valuable resource I have ever had as a menopause provider. The Menopause society is great to guide practice and physiology changes in menopause transition, however, vague and overall lacking in prescribing! Heather’s course is all of the above and more!

When my perimenopause started, I asked for hrt but was offered birth control. But it did not do much.. I am 48 y/o started HRT, 8 month ago. 0.25 patch and 200 mg progesterone and vag cream and I feel great. No more brain fog , mood swings. I do some months spot but I can handle . It’s been for me a life saver as my symptoms were most mood swings and brain fog …

This is good to hear just now reaching out to a doc about HRT. Horrible brain fog and anxiety right now . I’m so glad to see this worked and am hopeful for me

I'm 43 and I've been put on 100mg progesterone and transdermal estradiol for a 3 month trial. It's a continuous dose and I'm really hoping this is going to help my ongoing exhaustion/brain fog/irritability/aches&pains/poor sleep. I was also diagnosed with hypothyroidism and taking Levothyroxine. I hope my doctor has started me on the right combination? Listening to this video and reading some of the comments has given me hope I'm on the right track at last! Thank you 💕

would love for you to cover testosterone in more detail. there are creams, pellets, a shot. i am not able to hold the hormones in my body. i started out at 1/4ml of testosterone cream, then 1/2 ml, then 1ml. After getting bloodwork done each time my levels did not move. have you seen patients who cannot hold the hormones in their bodies? how does this happen? thank you

Menopause Taylor said we must be on at least a .05 mg estrogen patch to have the brain/bone health protection. I have Factor 5 & had a blood clot when my uneducated OB/GYN put me on a birth control pill for menopause symptoms. I’m now with a new provider, who put me on a .0375 mg transdermal patch. Many of my symptoms have subsided, but she is cautious to increase my dose with my history of blood clots. Please share your knowledge on estrogen dosing. Thx!!

Thank you! I love all of your videos. I have learned so much from you. And I have used that knowledge to make a change in my HRT with my physician, for the better. I recently started using compounded Tirzepatide. I actually started using it for migraine control and prevention. And it has been working great! But it has changed my menstrual cycle. I am 47 years old, and currently in perimenopause. My periods have been irregular for the past year. I am taking 0.5 mg estradiol pill, and 200 mg progesterone bill at bedtime. Since starting the Tirzepatide, I have been having my period every 16 days or so, and lots of spotting. I read that this glp 1 medication can affect the menstrual cycle and the absorption of these hormones. I would love to see a video from you on how we should go about treating this. Should we increase the amount of HRT to stop the irregular bleeding? I would love to get your answer on this. Thank you!

Do you have any suggestions for helping with heartburn caused by the oral intake of micronized progesterone? I have switched to vaginal use but that isn’t ideal either, rather icky by morning. I hate not getting the relaxation and sleep benefits by using it orally, but get horrible heartburn from it

I, too, experienced GI issues and heartburn when I started oral progesterone. After 2 months, it's no longer an issue. The sleep benefits are so nice.

Did you just push through and keep taking it and your body adjusted and got use to it? I have heartburn into the next day from taking it the previous night.

That's exactly what I did. I was finally sleeping more than 3 hour stints, so I was willing to deal with the GI stuff.@kimberlyw3847

I have a medical question DR.H- I’m 49 and recently started 0.75 mg estradiol patch with 100 progesterone (4 mos ago) but developed HTN within headaches so was told to stop my hormones. I hated to do that (helped my symptoms a lot) but am curious if decreasing my estrogen dose could help or is it not worth the risk at all? I also plan to ask my PCP but prefer a specialist’s thoughts. Since being off the estrogen 3 days now my BO has normalized and no more HA. Pls help!

Hi Dr; thank you for this video I appreciated. I am on 0.075 estradiol and 100 mg progesterone but I am spotting everyday and my doctor told me to take 200 mg progesterone and it made me feel very tired foggy and sleepy. Is progesterone spouse to stop bleeding? what is spotting means why is it bad?

Thanks for this video! Can you please link the one about progesterone intolerance? Progesterone knocked me out around the clock, so I got a mirena iud to protect my uterus and am on the 0.075 patch. My hot flashes have restarted and I want to ask for a 0.1 patch but am not sure whether the mirena will be enough progesterone.
