Another good thing for newer businesses to note is that for packaging you can get FREE mailers, boxes, and thermal packaging shipment stickers when you sign up for a USPS business account, which is also free to do. I am set on thermal shipment labels for quite a while! And I got a cheap thermal printer from Amazon.

Honestly, I started on Etsy back in 2010 and I genuinely wish I had put more effort into social media then. I’ve been doing primarily in person markets the last few years but I’m physically exhausted. I planned to take a break and come back to online sales with my website next year and you’ve been my inspiration to continue.❤

I never comment on videos, genuinely I stay behind the scenes even though in real life I’m someone who is extremely extroverted and open in praise. But when it comes to art I feel like I hide myself and my thoughts. Still, seeing all your videos has inspired me sooo deeply that I have started calling myself an artist! I’ve never produced anything LOL but that’s what I am and I may as well start believing it even in my speech. I’m so grateful people like you don’t gatekeep and recognize that there’s enough to go around for everyone.

You really are a cosy business - I feel so calm and centred listening to you🙏🏽❤ I have to say I struggle with social media as it takes up so much time and I genuinely dislike it and being on it. Before socials really were important I'd earn more as an artist by going to a networking art event every few weeks - so much less time! Now even there people only want to see your socials.😞

Personally, I dislike packing peanuts. A few items I've bought off ebay came packaged with them, and they're such a mess to sift through. I buy art dolls and those are packaged to the hilt... But it's ok because they're very expensive... I'm kinda surprised your little creations make it through the USPS without damage, but I'm glad it's working for you. Great video! Always love hearing what you share, and seeing how you've blossomed over the past few years! 😘💞💖

I want to sell some stuff on the side to recover some of the costs and to eventually buy a fiber laser but don't want to do this full time.
