How to start your pellet stove without an igniter

Will the Alpine series pellet stoves have the same functional parts( exhaust fan, blower fan, igniter, ETC) as the rest of the Comfortbilt line up

Yes, the Alpine series uses the same electronics, igniters, and fans. The auger and auger motor is smaller however.

How do I make sure the exhaust fan engages? Does it sense the fire?

The exhaust fan should start spinning up as soon as it goes into the igniting phase. The larger room blower fan does not engage until the fire is well established, and the unit goes into the Heating phase of operation.

Will this work for older models with the different looking control panel?

It sure will. Just follow the same steps. The panel readout may be slightly different, but it will still work.

I can’t get my Exhaust to turn on while doing this. I leave the door open with the flame high and nothing. If I shut the door at all the flames goes out then my whole house just fills with smoke.

The exhaust fan is critical to the operation of the stove. If that is stuck, that may actually be the reason the stove will not start.
