I have definitely felt very low at many times in my life and now my trick is to just try to witness the situation as a third person, saying to myself "i have been through worse and got through it, i am sure i will overcome this too, i just don't have clarity of mind to see it, like i didn't have it during those past times, but they too, passed" I don't know if I am making total sense, or if this will help you but it seems to work with me! :)

+Alicja I agree. And I have to say that I really wish people would start differentiating between "bashing" and constructive criticism. The two are not synonymous! Just because someone's offering advice or an opinion that is different to yours, it doesn't mean that they're "bashing" you or trying to "bring you down." Supporting someone doesn't ONLY mean that you praise everything they do, it also means that you care enough to let them know when they could be doing something better. There is so much value in CC that I can't understand why people like Mimi (new-agers) completely dismiss anything that isn't "positive." =/
