Hi Christian, I liked a lot this video. The things you said in this video are very true and the story of your grandma is so full of feeling and love for her and for what she did in her difficult life. And I think that what she said is true : it's the fear to make mistakes when we speak or when we do something else that kills our experiences. We MUST win the fear !!! So we could be happier!! Bye Christian, my best teacher.

Thank you for your videos, I am trying to be just that kind of teacher. Breaking the conservative non functional education system and trying to "infect" students with my enthusiasm for communication in English. Your videos are helping me to stay focused on this "mission" and I feel supported by you in my way of teaching.

I’m so impacted by your video, Christian! Beyond your touching story of your grandma and you, which brought me tears, your sensitive way to approach this important issue of living with joy had captured me. I was born and raised in a poor country area and left my home when I was 12 years old. Life was hard but I’ve made it through. I’ve learned English most of it on my own, I consider myself fluent, I listen, read and talk with no major issues. I’ve never wanted to go through any evaluation tests because I always just wanted to communicate and have the joy of being able to comprehend and being comprehended by someone out from my Portuguese world and culture. Now I’ve just come to this great video in which you emphasize the importance of communicating over just studying. All the best to you. Love you! P.S: as a vegan, the story of “loving” selfishly the fish and eating was very appropriate!

Dear Christian, I watch your videos not only to learn English, but mainly for your spirituality, for your charisma. His words, his teachings make my life happy and motivating. Sometimes we don't have an exact notion of our attitudes, about our words. Your grandmother must be very proud of you, I believe she is in a good place. You are a blessed person, I feel a very good energy in you. Keep it up. Bear hug! (Abraço de urso!).

He has learned 13 LANGUAGES, speaks 6 languages, lectures at Moscow universities. He is a Russian language expert, linguist, and polyglot. His passion and love for languages, as well as useful tips, are a source of motivation and triggers for constant language learning for me and for many people. He once has said to me ''You just have to love a language that u want to know, not to study'' I've made outstanding and dramatic improvements thanks to his help and guidance. Now I know what kind of material to use and how to use to make the learning process productive and efficient and more enjoyable at the same time. I think you never will be motivated for a long time if you won't find your mentor. İf it interesting for someone his channel is called Linguamus. Btw Christian thanks for your sensitive and sincere story

Moving his video, I share many of his feelings about his grandmother, because the losers of the Spanish Civil War were forced into exile and I lived with my grandmother until I was eleven. In that exile all her efforts without means were focused on me learning English so that I could live in the civilized world. I love English simply because it meant freedom. Thank you for your class.

But as a Christian I would like to add a small addition. According to the Bible, there is a positive "worry" in our lives. Christian, that history of your grandmother was really moving. Here in Italy several persons in the past emigrated in Australia and much of them never came back. For that concern the learning love, you said a huge truth and I'm an example of that. When I was child and went at the school I highly hated English, and I can swear it (at such time) not even teachers had the suitable knowledge of it.... so, I let you imagine what were the teaching! Nevertheless, the teacher were arrogant and bad.... however, when I grew up, I felt the wish to learn that language and, I arrenged it utterly alone, starting from the bottom. Well, nowtime I'm feeling like the emigrates whose moved in Australia speaking no one word and that slowly slowly, step by step, became able speaking fluently. Thank you so much for teaching. You are a great man!
