Very happy to support this project and have signed up already. I have seen it with my own eyes how education, poverty and population growth are related (in Ethiopia and the Amazonian jungle - as a volunteer English teacher). Education, and especially education for young girls, changes the economic situation of the family leading to better use of even a minimal income and creates the opportunity for considered family planning. Nelson Mandela believed in the power of education, and the fact that some of us are jobless right now does not invalidate the argument that the more you know, the more you are in control of your life and that of your loved ones. As for this fundraising effort being a drop in the ocean, I have read this recently: "Do we have to wait long?" asked the disciple. "If we wait, it will be long," replied the wise man.

Education is the KEY . I am from Honduras aand I was a teacher , and now I am.living in the USA . My career opened me doors here. I worked as a subtitute teacher for 3 years with long term and now I got permanent job as a Bilingual Aide at school. I working hard to get my teacher certification here in Texas.
