How to STIFFEN fabric for crafts using Glue

I wanted my little sailboat to have full sails not flat ones so I decided to use glue to stiffen the fabric in a curve.
It was slim pickings on board for what glue I had to use but luckily this turned out perfectly even with dry and lumpy glue, I just made sure I didn’t leave any chunks attached.
I’m pretty sure that any clear drying glue will work well. Just make sure it’s fully dried before using it, I left mine for 2 days.
