Looking to stop as a hockey player in today's NHL? In this video Jason goes over how the top players are using their edges to drag, cut and stop themselves more efficiently with way less effort than how we were taught in the 90's and early 2000's. In our latest video, we dive deep into the revolutionary Downhill Skating System, showcasing a variety of advanced stopping techniques that today's top players are mastering. From edge drags to toe and heel drags, we explain why diversifying your stopping methods is crucial for dominating the game.
Acceleration might get all the glory, but the art of deceleration is a game-changer in hockey. Creating space isn't just about speeding up; it's also about knowing how to slow down effectively. Our expert coaching tips on using punches, toe drags, and heel drags as strategic moves will help you outmaneuver opponents with ease.
Gone are the days of the basic snow plow and T-stop. It's 2024, and the game has evolved. If you're ready to separate yourself from the competition, add deception to your play, and claim your space on the ice, it's time to master the mechanics of modern stopping.
👉 We've put together a special training just for you - 5 FREE lessons in the Downhill Skating System. Discover how to adopt the cutting-edge style of stopping and deceleration that's setting today's best players apart.
