Great advice as always. The fundamentals on leash pressure versus correction is also a part that I feel most people do not understand. The sooner the dog understands leash pressure the easier everything else becomes.

I'm getting a shepherd in a few weeks. I have been watching your channel ever since it was called "the canine show", and I just wanted to say a huge thank you. Your course in union with your videos have helped me greatly with my first Bullmastiff puppy and I hope it will do the same for my new GSD :)

Glad youre back to making videos! Going to practice this one, because walking my 1yo GSD is HELL. I tried every collar from prong to the one you show, to Halti. I need to really focus on this because the walks arent fun. Thanks !

My Gsd always walks on my right hand side even when I turn her to the left side, she always turns on the right hand side.Is there a preferred side for Gsd when leash walking?

My black German shepherd FINE lady was beautiful on leash (no corrections used, I stopped the walk when leash had tension, didn’t continue until she came back to me) until about… 5 months. Almost overnight, it’s barking and lounging at EVERYTHING. When you think you’ve solved it, I promise you, you haven’t. It takes reinforcement every single time
