I am a bicyclist, dancer, and strength trainer. "My coach" said my weak core was the reason for my legs starting to sink after about 3 or 4 slow strokes. Well, as soon as I sucked in my abs a bit and tightened the gluten, the legs stayed up! Thank you!

Good one 👍third drill is best done using a swim snorkel
@siskatrainingsystems5 жыл бұрын
yes good point, a snorkel could be a great tool for all these drills actually, thanks for watching!

Yes. Dedicated a swim session in a recovery week to it. Felt the benefit immediately tbh but like all drills, need to stay on top of it 👍

Tried extended superman’s today, got there for 2-3 seconds and then sank! Any tips re how to maintain, faster kick, was sucking in Abs, but first attempt to baby step success nonetheless

Also thanks for the Bobs video, I doubled my breathing time out today just by swapping to mouth from nose and actually found a bit of a rhythm, first for me!

Great job! Yes baby steps , keep at it and the baby steps will turn into big leaps ....for the fast kicking focus on hips not the feet ....start with fins first and then progress to normal

my kick is not propulsive. I blame it on lack of ankle flexibility because I can’t think of anything else.
@siskatrainingsystems4 жыл бұрын
Yes lack of ankle flexibility is a major factor, watch my how to kick video on this channel and we address that issue specifically..thanks for watching!

I am thinking this is one of you older videos.... Anyway, I call it 'posture' rather than body position. Perhaps different names for the same thing. Keep the head down, and suck in your gut...

Dude, please show example in the pool, what up with the white board😳😳 What happen to the leg sinking you didn't even talk about the main topic?
@siskatrainingsystems5 жыл бұрын
Thanks for watching..The drills are shown in the pool on how to stop your legs from sinking?? If you do the drills shown in video(in pool) , your legs will no longer sink when swimming...
