I used to have this problem. Now that I’m 62, my makeup stays put with powder and some setting spray…one of the many benefits of aging!!!

Thank you for these tips. As a 58-year-old, combinition slightly oily skin gal with large pores, I really struggle with foundation on and around my nose and on my chin. The foundation settles into my pores but won't stick to the rest of the skin. The only foundation that doesn't do that as much is the Dior Forever Matte. I am going to try these tips for sure!

I’m gonna try these suggestions! I’m SO sick and tired of going into places (Ulta or Sephora) and having them have no idea how to help me, or suggesting the same tips or tricks (products) at various stores that never work. It’s a giant waste of money and time. I’m early 40s, huge pores, and oily/combo skin. I also wear glasses all day. Nothing sticks! To the point I don’t wear makeup, because what’s the point? But when I go to say, a job interview, I want to look more polished. Not that I’ve caked it on. Thanks again for the video.

I also use the MAC Paint Pot around my lips and lightly in my vertical lip lines above my top lip and it disguises my lines TREMENDOUSLY! I could not do my makeup with our MAC Paint Pot. It truly is a GAME CHANGER! I love your tips and tricks, Sharalee. You have made such a difference in helping my makeup application on my soon to be, 60-year-old skin. I'll hit my 60-year mark on January 2nd. I adore you and appreciate your INTEGRITY and HONESTY, sooo much, Sharalee. ❤ya, KIMBER~Your Austin, Texas Sister in Beauty and Faith 🥰 😘 🙏

I don't have these specific problems but I do have a problem with my glasses slipping down my nose. I have found that putting Elf Liquid Flawless Putty Primer over my foundation on my nose before setting powder really helps. Hopefully this may be of use to someone. Really like your eye make up in this video, really pretty xx

I haven’t had a problem with makeup sliding off nose or chin but it was interesting to see your tips to prevent this issue. It’s amazing how the prep process really works. I do use the ochre paint pot around my lip area it definitely helps feathering All your tips are always helpful 👍. 😍

You always have so many great tips and tricks to elevate our makeup. Here is another problem for you to please tackle…foundation settling into those nasolabial and marionette lines. I blend and blend, and it settles literally within a minute. It happens with every brand I’ve tried from Dior to Revlon. Arghhhhh!

Thank you for continuing to share tips, I feel like there's so many things that regular makeup wearers know that I have no clue about. So I appreciate the sharing. Would you consider doing a video about how you reapply things during the day? I feel like there's things that I'm missing. I want to keep my makeup looking nice,but I don't want to have to feel like I'm completely redoing my makeup. Just a thought. Happy Holidays! 💜🎄

As always, thank you for this tip! I am going through menopause and my face has changed from dry to now oily lol. So my nose and chin look like I put oil on them after a couple hours after applying my makeup 🥴 I have this Mac paint pot so I will be trying this trick. 😊Merry Christmas Sharalee to you & your family and all your fans here ❤🎄🎅🏼

Great tips for a daily problem for me. What is the difference between a skin tint and tinted BB cream. Would the BB cream do the same as your tint from Maybelline?

Sharalee, wondering do you concentrate on your makeup looking good close up, or looking “good enough” close-up? 😆 I’m 56 and it’s gotten hard to get a pretty finish close-up❤

Good question! I would say, "good enough"....no one is pulling out their magnifying glass so it doesn't have to be absolutely flawless all the time😘

I wear glasses how do I stop the bridge of the nose marks from my glasses
@SharaleesBoxOfChocolates28 күн бұрын
It's almost impossible to prevent them all together. However, pressing extra powder on the bridge of your nose can help. Also, you may try using a finishing powder like the Make Up Forever Ulta HD Microfinishing powder which creates a smooth almost slippery feel to the skin.
