where in the pocket prep app does it talk about multiple choice exam study tips?

Michele Delo good question! They updated their app since I created this video, so I’m having troubles finding it too. I found an alternative resource that had a lot of the same concepts on it. I hope that helps 💙 www.dmu.edu/wp-content/uploads/MULTIPLE-CHOICE-TEST-TAKING-STRATEGIES.pdf Best of luck on your upcoming exam!!

Thanks for sharing these tips! Taking my exam at the end of July. Honestly I love the audio portion of Inman. I’m still studying but I’ve already gone through the audio like 3 times already. I plan on going through it a bunch more. Listening to her and going along with it I feel like I’m retaining it and picking up the little notes she’s said. That’s my plan! Also flash cards!

Hey Katie! This video had some great advice in it. My exam is next week and thus far I've used Jean Inman, Rdstudy.com and now EatRightPrep (3-day trial). I have been studying since the second week of January so I feel confident and prepared for the test, I cannot wait for it to be over! My studying progression has been: Go through each domain w/ it's corresponding practice test using Jean Inman (4 weeks), make flashcards on topics that are hard for me to remember, take practice exams using Rdstudy (3 weeks) and EatRightPrep's 3 day trial (6 days). The most valuable and helpful method of studying for me has by far been exposing myself to and taking all the practice exams that I can. With EatRightPrep and even more so Rdstudy the explanations for each questions are invaluable. I've learned so much these past 3 weeks, especially with learning how to reason my way through the tricky subjective questions.

I'm going to pin your comment because I love it so much!! :D Yesss!! I think the number one best thing for me was taking practice quizzes. I just took the ACE personal trainer exam too - and I found the same to be true. You definitely need to know the information first and foremost, but after that... you gotta just practice the way you play (e.g. - take those practice exams until they don't stress you out!!!) BEST of luck on your exam. You're gonna rock it! I'd love for you to update me on how this go :D You got thissssss ❤️🙌

@@sweetpotatoebb what inman version did you used ? I been using the 2007 version but I am not sure if I need to purchase the updated version. In addition did you find eat right prep helpful ? Thank you in advance

@@florflores7387 I used the 2013 print Inman version along with the 2017 audio for it. And I did not find EatRight Prep to be helpful at all. I used it for 6 days (2 of their 3 day free trials) and honestly most of their practice test questions were very random and out of left field. I really recommend Rdstudy.com for calculations and critical thinking practice!

Where do I secure the Inman reviewer?

Search “Jean Inman” on Google and her website will come up for you! I will update the description with a link too. Warning - The website is pretty old school looking 😂

Omg I felt like I made this video! Haha you study the same way I do and I’ve also been using the same materials. I have a 7 month old at home so I only have time to go through Inman once but I did it along with the Audio while taking notes/highlighting. I’m now trying to review pertinent info and rewrite what I’m having trouble with. EN/PN ... especially EN is not my strong suit at all either. Along with remembering management/food service formulas. I take my exam next week and I’m just completely sick about it! This video helped so much. Thank you!💙

Lindsey Hubers oh my gosh- you’re a rockstar!! ✨💙 it’ll be over soon, you’re so so close! So happy this video could give some peace of mind. It’s hard to calm those nerves until you get through it, but you will 😊 Soon you’ll be an RD!!! Woooo! ✨🙌

Heya! Recent grad here studying for the CDR exam. The information you provided was helpful, thank you very much for sharing. :) (p.s. I know domain 2 is going to kick my butt, haha)

You’re sooo welcome 🙌 and oh boy, Domain 2 is a butt-kicker 🤣🤣 I spent a lot of time with that one too! As long as you know your weak points and focus on absorbing as much of it as you can... you’ll do awesome! Sending good vibes!

I know this video is a bit old now! But I just got accepted into my dietetics major at my school! How early should I start studying for the exam I’m entering my junior year of undergrad. Thanks!
@DarkBlueNutrition5 жыл бұрын
Amanda Griggs good question! All the tips still apply, however you probably won’t need to start studying until you’re nearing the end of your internship! I’d say start looking at study materials a few months before you’re done, then once your all finished, focus on studying for a few months before you take your exam! It’s tempting to want to focus on all-the-things... but my best advice is take it one step at a time! Your brain can only fully absorb so much 😊✨ hope that helps!
