Melissa, this was so much fun to make. Your instructions were spot on. I flew right through it. Only problem I had, I went to use my new super duper glue gun and it sparked and popped. Didn’t even get to use it once. Had to use my old one. Thank you for the excellent instructions!

If selling that though I would get a sheet of (however big the frame) backing and use shallow tack nails to cover the back, looks more complete and professional. But it looks great!!

Instead of removing the canvas just find a piece of wood or some old hardback books that fit in well. It doesn't matter so much on the edges. It still works well. Also you can sublimate straight onto the canvas just don't wash it....

Yes I've done it this way as well, but not if I want a reverse canvas ;)

I sublimate directly onto the canvas and then seal it with Polycrylic. Its great.

I cut out pieces of a cardboard box and stacked them underneath. I didn't have any books the right size, but stacking cardboard works great!

That’s what I was going to do but, My frame has a raised edge around (recessed) maybe an 1/8 inch. So the heat press wouldn’t touch the canvas.

I missed the time/temp to press laminate. You said heat press to 400 but press laminate at lower heat than that. 350/60? Thank you.

Unfortunately, b/c they are originally done as Facebook Lives, this is the upload quality to KZbin. Our higher resolution, post-edited videos are all on SilhouetteU.com and include fully edited start to finish videos, software tutorials, with better sound and video quality.

All of my videos are originally recorded live from Facebook Live and then uploaded directly to KZbin that's probably why.
