I’ve got 10+ years of experience, and it’s extremely difficult to find some international or continental job in charity. I’m from Poland, so I don’t have UK or USA visa, so it’s nightmare. I was working with 3 biggest charity organizations in Poland, lots of smaller also. It is so sad, because I would love to help. I studied international business, made a lot of certificates, was in project manager and director positions for years, and still… I hit the wall with this industry 🥲 Basically no remote opportunities, and I can’t leave the country, because on the weekends I’m doing my MBA.

I have a tip - currently working in a charity shop. I googled charity shops that had vacancies available and then searched up that shop and just rang up the number attached and got straight through to the manager of the shop. Although this may not always work I would recommend it is way less stressful.
