little hint to any noobs some pokemon are trade evolution only some require specified hold items when traded to evolve scyther onix need metal coat duskclops needs reapers clothe depending on which game febas needs to hold a prism scale rhydon needs a protector eletabuzz needs an electiser magmar needs a magmiser polywhirl and slopoke need kings rock clam pearl need ether deep sea scale or deep sea tooth porygon needs an upgrade porygon2 needs a dibius disc . its a disappointing tease to get anything listed and expect to see it evolve and nothing happens . i always equip the hold item if its needed for the evolution . why does it seem like everyone else or at least the ones i get pokemon from skip out on that part i even send out max level shiny pokemon from time to time in hope to get something good

I have a question how do you cancel surprise trade? They tell you that if you don't want to do the trade. Select surprise trade in the man you to cancel it. Every time I do it they always do the trade. What am I doing wrong with this.

Trust me guys, this is fun!!!! I have thought of a nice thing to do - later on I am going to catch pokemon that evolve via trade, and then trade these via surprise trade. I hope the recipient has joy at seeing the pokemon evolve straight away!!! Alakazam and Gengar - not bad mons

I bred a bunch of sprigatitos and am giving them away via surprise trade. Seems like a nice and fun thing to do. Plus, I plan on shiny hunting at some point using the masuda method anyway, and so far ive gotten a bunch of foreign pokemon so those will be perfect to use later even if they arent the best pokemon haha. And ofc if any of the people getting my sprigatito want to masuda method, now they have one they can use for that too :)

So, in suprise trade, can you control with whom you are suprise trading, like you could in Sword and Shield, where you could do suprise trade with specific guy/gal, or is it this time completely random, like Wonder Trade was? Also, you could mention that mon in suprise trade have a small chance on getting a special ribbon. :-)

I chose Sprigatito to be my starter. The first pokemon I received in surprise trade was Sprigatito. Hopefully someone gives me a Quaxley or Fuecoco.

just so you people know you do in fact need nintendo online for all forms of multiplayer functions , this includes trading and battling .
