Yeah because it looks like you've only weaved them in one direction, it might work better of you leave a longer end and crochet over the end over 3 rows. I hate weaving but I think I'll stick to doing it the normal way. Feels more secure

What if you followed what she does in the video but also tie the tails of the yarn together? I’m not sure how it would work but it might add a little extra comfort since the knot would still be there but hidden and secured with the technique used in the video. I haven’t switched colours much when crocheting and haven’t crocheted in a little while but definitely want to start again soon. I’m definitely the same way though, I tie knots whenever I’m worried about how a yarn project will hold together (knitting, crocheting, etc).

@rla81252 жыл бұрын
I always tie a knot before I crochet over my ends. I had a blanket come out of the wash with an end undone and unraveled about 6 rows once. After that I ALWAYS tie a knot. It works the same, you just tie a small knot before you work over the ends. :)
@beckylintgen11762 жыл бұрын
yes it will, but knots aren't necessary. I would never trust this project in a washing machine.
@stefanilabbe7497 Жыл бұрын
I use this same technique, although I leave the tails a bit longer. I usually crochet them into the row for about 10 stitches and then weave the tail back on itself twice. This ensures the yarn goes a different direction 3 times so it won’t come out. Tedious, but I’ve never had a project unravel doing it this way. Crocheting it into the row the first time just saves you from weaving it once.
@maybebuffalo6049 Жыл бұрын

I would throw just a quick little double knot on there, and I do because I've had projects come apart like this because just weaving in those ends isn't going to necessarily secure it enough to prevent that from unraveling.
