It just worked for me on my 2016 A-Class III (A250). Except that it only worked once I turned off the entire car and turned it on again !

casca600rr , no idea what you mean. There are no OBD gadget used here. I am not the first person doing this. You obviously don’t know what you are talking about. Anyone who knows about Mercedes knows about the Engineering Mode and Dealer Mode and how to get into these menus. Some Mercedes somehow can’t use the combination keys, but I have seen many use this and it works.

At 7:45, I edited a small part of the video out. It’s just getting back into the same screen by doing the same phone+1+#. This is the only way to get into the Engineering Mode. If you see 10:26, I used the same combination of buttons to get into the Engineering Mode.

Only the 2014 came with the old radio and steering wheel. The 2015+ is so modable like downloading CarPlay and back up camera beeps but 2014 is limited

Feriy, from what I understand it requires SCN coding. So just trying to activate it on these menus will not be enough. Mercedes have the STAR/Xentry software that does specific programming of all the modules.

@@xdeal88 yes, I guess so. Only thing I can do is change the AMG logo,. When I put the mirror Link to "on" , it will jump to off when I reboot the system. However, tks for sharing this guide. GLA220 2016 changed the AMG LOGO by using your way.

I had this issue and during a service Mercedes said its the voltage of the battery! You might need to replace you battery!

Start stop only works with specific type of battery which supports this function, it also cost more than normal battery

Hi if you have an eco button click the eco button and start stop will stop with it, or if you have the Start stop A click this and it will turn off, once you put your car into eco or if you own an AMG comfort start stop will activate click one of these buttons and it will turn off

Wavy Shaunz, the question Luis is asking for is to stop eco start/stop without clicking on the eco button. In my video, if you watch it all the way, I showed an option within the Engineering Menu that seem to allow an option to shutoff EC stop/start without using the button every time to switch it off. But that feature in the Engineering Menu does not allow permanent shutoff.

the option start stop in Engineering on Page 2 is NOT to disable the start-stop but the OPTION in the Menus. When you disable it you won't be able to turn on or off start stop in the settings on vehicle settings screen
