How to Take Apart & Clean Ryobi Chainsaw + Replace Chain | RY3716 16"

In this video I show you step by step how to take apart and put back together your Ryobi RY3716 16" chainsaw. It is important to take your chainsaw apart and clean it on the regular. Make sure when you are putting it back together that your chain is in the grooves on the top and bottom part of the blade before putting the cover back on. Saw arrived yesterday kzbin.infoUgkxfQm1wmg0ItKDLavxj1nXtQY9HP7EF504 and today I cut about 3/4 cord of wood with it. Make sure you get an extension chord that is at least 12 gauge wire, minimum. This is my first electric in about 10 years, and things sure have improved. The self-sharpener works great, and it just kept cutting through some pretty decent logs. Wear your eye protection, and ear protection. Excellent saw.

Don't deep tighten you bar nuts before you turing the chain adjustment screw . finger tighten is better . will be bent you adjustment screw .

PSA I found to get the cover off and on with ease after removing the nuts you have to first release the brake. Put the brake back on after you have replaced the cover.

Have 3714, oiler stopped working. Cleaned up but still no oiling. Worm gear may be busted so need to remove clutch.

You need to back the adjustment pin off (counter clockwise) fit the cover, then adjust the pin (chwin tighness) then do up the 2x 13mm bolts.

Have this saw,hit me up when I chain bar is completely black and you can't see Ryobi on the bar no more, and make sure you turn your chainsaw bar upside down and don't turn it right side up in between each chainsaw sharpening and cleaning this will allow even far where cuz over time the chain and where you'll get it to where your borrowed that's why I'm saying turn your bar from upside down right side up and vice versa each time you disassemble and clean your chain you'll learn that when you use it enough but again you still have Ryobi praying on your bar so you haven't used it that much
