Omg dude are you serious??! I hope you are doing alright. I've gone similar speeds before in certain areas in FL lol but I have since been more careful about it since I got pulled over a couple weeks ago for going 81mph. Everyone else goes that speed in this area but of course I have a loud mustang with orange halo lights so he singled me out.
@TRUdetailing5 жыл бұрын
Jupiter Fox! Yeah dead serious man. I was just cruising in my way home. Wife was mad I left the shop late, Louisville metro undercover got me. Apparently I passed him at 110 and it took him 4 exits to catch me with no lights on. I seen someone coming up behind me I honestly thought they wanted to raise so I got over and seen the lights. I cruise around 90-100 all day long, well not anymore lolz (Easy to do in a E550 Coupe). Had to spend about 9 hours in there. No big deal it was a great life lesson forsure. I’m 23, felt like I needed it to slow my ass down some. I’ve been pulled over 14 times in 6 years .8 tickets. 6 dismissed. I should be fine but if I don’t get a good lawyer I’ll be in trouble Friday on my court date lol. However, my lawyer is fantastic so hopefully he pulls through! Lol
@SangheiliSpecOp5 жыл бұрын
@@TRUdetailing i wish you the best of luck! I always cruised at 90mph to 100mph as well. In fact I'll still do it in short bursts (I got a modded out 2008 Mustang GT so it's not that hard ;) but the way I was pulled over caught me off guard. It was a state trooper that I passed andI thought nothing of it, all cars were going that fast. But 30 seconds later he was blasting down the turnpike with his lights already on well before he was close to me so he can weave through traffic and sure enough he got on my ass and gave me a ticket. Only my second ticket I ever got, my first was a speed trap right outside my own neighborhood 5 years ago. I have been pulled over at least 10 different times but it's usually because the officers just don't like my Mustang or the way I drive lol. Even other state troopers let me off the hook, I guess it depends on the officer. Anyways I'm working on getting this ticket dismissed as well. I feel the same as you, I was regularly going faster and faster and faster and it's easy to become desensitized to the lawful speed. 70mph is really slow but of course everyone needs their revenue to come in so they'll never raise that limit. I'm 25 btw. I'm pretty sure I would be shook if I went to jail... So thats why I asked if you were okay
@TRUdetailing5 жыл бұрын
Jupiter Fox! Dude that’s a crazy story as well!! Yeah when he told me I was getting arrested I was like why are you serious for speeding? And he basically told me he had a feeling if he didn’t take me to jail that I would keep doing it. Which is about half of the truth so to be honest it was a lesson learned. He was a really cool cop after I got talking to him he handcuff me in his front seat in the front and let me keep my car on the side of the road so my mom can come pick it up and call my wife and all that. He actually ordered a brand new C8 from a local dealership lol. His main concern was he just don’t want anybody killed which is totally understandable! Much respect to him. Jail wasn’t as scary as what I thought it was going to be it was just cold as hell and they treat you the same as everyone else there lol. You just have to make the best of the situation and either make friends with what normal people are in there and share stories throughout the night or just go to sleep lol.
