I’m so excited/relieved to tell this massive story (Wash Post 2012 Cover Story) that we’ve kept quiet for 7yrs. First off, I’m aware of the reputation of Mischief. We’re not angels. If any of us get caught do something illegal, we’re responsible for our actions. This was a situation that we’ve never experience before. This 1.5yr nightmare with Augusta County involved 26 people and cost us tens of thousands of dollars. Thanks Ed for the opportunity to tell our story! After viewing notes: Original interview was 43min. “We never mess around the DC area”. I need to clarify that we stopped messing around the DC area after I went to jail in VA in 2006 for reckless driving 83/55. Out of the 16 cars on drive, 1 Lotus did manage to escape by hiding behind a dumpster at a gas station. The police watched all our social media accounts before and after our court dates. Our lawyer Sheila was never allowed to work in Augusta County again after defending us. Augusta refused to send me back my GoPros (I plead not guilty). I will do a followup video on our KZbin channel. - Dustin

What they should've done, is as a group, fund the money to go get a team of really really really good lawyers. Sure, they might have had to bite some off of their life savings, but listen, there is no way this shit would fly in court, if you present all the evidence. They could have sued for ALOT of money. Especially those police guys who had their carrers in jeapordy all because of what to me looks like some fucking officers in some no name shithole county, being jealous of all these cool cars. It's fucking pity and they didnt wanna admit it wrong. It's just blatant. It would be so easy to sue for ALOT of money here given the circumstances of being ordered to basically cause damage to their very expensive luxury vehicles, being forced to pay the towing companies, not being able to show up to work, having your carrer in jeapordy and travel expenses and so on. There is alot, maybe too much work for one lawyer to handle it on his own, but if you hire a really really really good and well known lawyer who owns a lawfirm, who has like 5 guys under him, helping him piece it all together, they could have sued for alot of money. I really hope they did that, because that's what I would have done in their shoes. I bet you that a lawfirm like that would be extatic to take on this case, because the ammount of money to be made from this is astounding. Lmao. Fucking stupid cops who don't wanna admit they did wrong.

@@HankScorpio64 I'm not even american, but yes I get what you mean, but I still think you miss the mark on the root of the problem. A police has by simple virtue of being a police, power over you. Now, you could say that this is artificial and I agree to some extent. They are essentially backed by the whole back-bone of the country to do whatever the fuck they want with you. Y'know, before people started having cameras on their phones, they would get away with alooot more shit aswell and you can especially see that in "small town cops" who think they are demi-gods of sort. It's repulsive and disgusting. The only reason the police exist is to keep the government in place, because otherwise people could just say "wtf? let's march it down!" and the tyrant would have to step down. Unfortunatly, that's really not gonna happen when they have their ultimate weapon: the police, which more acts as an intimidation factor, caus if it were really coming down to it, the people always outnumber the people in control and their human tools (police/military). You gotta look past the water that's already inside the boat brother, you're not changing the police, matter of fact it's just gonna get worse and worse with time. USA is already a defacto police state but you're gonna get a 1970's Mexico soon - where the cops literally were the law, walked around executing people on the streets as they saw fit and noone could do shit about it. By looking past the water that's already inside the boat, you gotta look at the people who is funding the police, namely the government. Yes. Exactly. Do you get it now? "Oh we gotta change" Lol. You honestly think you can change anything? or are you just speaking generally with some lost hope of someone else doing the work for you? Either way, you're never going to fool the tyrant, in this case you are the one who's fooled. You are too focused on their foot soldiers rather than the root of the cause. Don't focus on the causation, but rather on the cause. But oh well, that's only if you're gonna talk about this subject to begin with, ultimately it's fucking pointless. The odds stacked against us are too great, they got it all and we are mindless tax slaves infinately funneling them money as if that was granted and something given. You're best shot is to never become a public person. Never speak negatively about the police/state/government or any of the like to a large group of people. Because they will peak an interest in you and you will be put on a list of enemies in their eyes. They see people who can see past the illusions of "bad vs bad" civil distress which ultimately leads to civil war. They want it this way, because if you are focuse on killing off your fellow folk, then they aint gotta move a thumb to do it themselves. Live off grid in the eyes of the government. That's the best course of action. If you don't open your mouth or give them any reason to belive you are their enemy, you will most likely never have any problems. You might run in to some asshole cop once or twice, but hey, there is nothing to do about it other than fucking bending over and taking it right up the arse. If you however start talking to newspapers, or organising yourself in your small community and maybe even sending in letters of suggestions to changing laws, that's when you are treading dangerous territory and if you continue on that path, they will get rid of you. Remember that these people have endless resources and materials. They can get anything done, you are but an insect compared to their machine which will crush you if you even come close to appearing as a threat to them and the police is their first and foremost defence which ensures their continuation in tyranny.

I grew up in a small town. Me and my friends have all been pulled over and abused by our local small town cops. Times were a little different, fewer cameras, less internet involvement and different attitudes. When my dad found out I got roughed up by a deputy, he blamed me. I live elsewhere now but I know for a fact that the same deputy who broke my friend’s rib is serving time for sexual assault. Again that rolls right back into the first theory that the arresting officer only saw dollar signs because he assumed that these are expensive cars, they have the money to burn. I had a similar thing happen to our car club. We were "racing" on a "public road" when it was a private land Autocross held to support a local family who had twins who had both been diagnosed with terminal cancer. They loved cars and the family posted something on Facebook asking for friends to bring by cars and take them on rides. Local NASCAR legend Cale Yarborough has a large amount of land nearby with a big paved area. My mother is great friends with 1 of his 3 daughters and saw this post. I asked her if we could have a little event out there for these kids and then asked our local car club on facebook about some of them coming out and doing some light autocross with them. We had some drag Civics, bagged Mustangs, a Pure Turbo McLaren, and some Porsches/Ferraris/Lamborginis out. It was great fun and the kids LOVED it! We did also all donate some money to them and Cale also donated a large sum himself even though he couldn't be there due to his bad back. He did however have hid grandson bring out one of his older NASCARs out. Some people did record videos and did upload them to Facebook. I'm not certain how the police heard about it so quickly but when we were leaving the event this small town had multiple officers and road blocks to divert us and give us all crazy tickets. We did have Go-Pro mounts that they did search vehicles and people for the cameras but no-one had the cameras with them. They did try to flat bed tow some of the more "exotic" cars to impound them but many would not even go on the flatbeds. Then they went for other cars. The "Mu-Stance" ended up airing out completely and "His controller died" so it couldn't get towed. They ended up getting the truck towing the drag Civic, the trailer holding the Civic, my C7 Z51, and a few Porsches/M3's. They however did not realize one of the up for election Sheriffs happens to be the father of one of the guys who came out with me. His father ended up showing up and de-escalated things for some of us who were still around. I and a few others ended up having everything dropped in court however a few of the "Exotic" owners ended up with more fines and damage to their vehicles from the attempted towing. The best news is the children ended up both going into remission and things are looking optimistic now. Both boys do now come out to our car meets and have done many ride allongs and a few passes at the drag strip. A little octane addiction is a minor side effect from the treatment we gave them ;)

Supreme Court will never get involved in a smaller issue like this, definitely needs to be taken to higher courts and the FBI but in order for the supreme Court to get involved it would need to have appeals going all the way up the chain, which will never happen for something like this, however if they take it to upper courts, I would hope they could win several suits against, both the PD involved, the tow companies, the media, and hopefully push an FBI investigation on this county

"By petition for writ of certiorari with respect to a decision of one of the territorial or state courts, after all state appeals have been exhausted, where an issue of federal constitutional or statutory law is in question" ... Their rights have been violated and if the lower courts won't help them they should be able to make a plea. It would take a lot for them to take the case but blatent violations of rights have occurred.

When it's spoken, it's slander. When it's written, it's libel. As for the cops, judge, and persecutor, this is a RICO violation, and a big lawsuit under U.S. Code § 1983. Civil action for deprivation of rights Every person who, under color of any statute, ordinance, regulation, custom, or usage, of any State or Territory or the District of Columbia, subjects, or causes to be subjected, any citizen of the United States or other person within the jurisdiction thereof to the deprivation of any rights, privileges, or immunities secured by the Constitution and laws, shall be liable to the party injured in an action at law, suit in equity, or other proper proceeding for redress, except that in any action brought against a judicial officer for an act or omission taken in such officer’s judicial capacity, injunctive relief shall not be granted unless a declaratory decree was violated or declaratory relief was unavailable. For the purposes of this section, any Act of Congress applicable exclusively to the District of Columbia shall be considered to be a statute of the District of Columbia.
