Thank you. Formerly I was a career teacher (Thanks C...d for ending that?) and I'm considering how I'm going to teach my step daughter to drive. Her Mom's tried, but I fear she's already picked up bad habits. Thank you for the guidelines on the basics that the step daughter probably missed due to the way paid driving lessons work in the US. Thankfully, I've got two months to repair any mis-learnings & I appreciate the pedagogy you bring to the topic.

@@ChrisBakerCoaching I’ve Already saved the whole series! My son got in (caused) a 5 car accident making wife right turn while learning to drive so now he’s hesitant to drive. He went and got his license but now I want to teach him from the beginning again and this is just what we needed! There aren’t any helpful videos teaching how to teach.

Thank you for this video. Just one comment about hand placement- experts now recommend 9 and 3 due to air bag deployment injuries that can happen when hands are at 10 and 2.
@ChrisBakerCoaching5 ай бұрын
While that is true. 9 & 3 has also been proven to provide less control of the vehicle than 10 & 2 in situations where quick steering reaction was necessary.
@ChrisBakerCoaching5 ай бұрын
That being said, you could probably safely use either equally. Personal choice

This video has really good intentions, but no one can actually see what you’re talking about with this parking lot the lines none of it it’s too sunny.

Unfortunately it was also the lot we were in which had more faint lines. We will try tone-record this one in the future
