The way I think of when we INTJs reciprocate flirting is a feeling of “when you know, you know” and it requires the right person. Flirting with the wrong person is very awkward, but the right person is the most natural feeling ever. Then this is just the question of whether the INTJ is _interesed_ in you or not. Another question remains which is, does the INTJ want to engage in a relationship? INTJs can _like_ someone with no intention of getting into a romantic relationship with that person. I think "liking someone" is another different topic from "I want them to be my partner". Maybe that's why INTJs are almost always single. Emotion is not enough to push them to actually get into it. I've liked a few people in my entire life, acted the same as mentioned here, but ended up asking myself if committing with them would be good. And as Jon said, I gag at the thought of it. 😂 (Well, for the most parts.)

My husband also says that he fell in love with how bold and passionate I am about helping others. We definitely had many bumps as we were getting to know each other, but we always made a commitment to understand each other rather than fighting against each other. As an ENFJ, I deeply trust and respect his ability to be real with me in any situation. I trust that he can see situations with the clearest lenses (not muddled with emotions), despite who is at fault. Just like you stated about INTJs, he is always learning, growing, and bettering himself, and he calls me to that standard. He’s unoffendable. If he’s at fault, he wants to know and grow from it. She’s bold, passionate (often willing to help strangers and say hi to them on the street), reasonable, and strategic. ahhh the whole Fi thing is so true. rather than embarrassed, i'm more irritated by it and unfortunately when I was young, I would just ask the person out without any planning. i learned very quickly that my expectations in what a relationship should be, and others' expectations are so different. Now I'm 28, and I've only had almost-relationships, I let people know how I am and what I am like from the get-go, and a lot of people get really anxious from that. I don't blame anyone, I have a lot of friends who have been hurt by avoidant partners, and I did lean towards that when I was fresh out of my breakups, but I also know it's ridiculous to expect my partner to be okay with me just enjoying my time alone and possibly getting irritated if we meet more than twice a month, not replying to texts some days just because i feel so overwhelmed....this video does explain why i enjoy courting so much more than the relationships, for a while i felt a bit weird because a lot of intjs seem to hate the idea of playing around, but idk i always thought tht if i found my person in my 16-20s, i don't need to have any last minute changes to my future. now i just enjoy everything i can so i will be more willing to change my future plans should i ever meet someone who can actually tolerate how alone i like to be TT O TT

@DiLu-o3p5 ай бұрын
The party thing is very accurate. And also if someone else is talking to our crush, ESPECIALLY if they’re an E-type, we’d keep away. There’s nothing less appealing to INTJ than having to compete for someone’s affection, even more so if we have to play at the extroverted game against extroverts. Absolutely horrid. So we’d stay clear until they all lose interest. And if they’re successful at getting our crush, might as well admit defeat as they’re showing they prefer E types which is what I can’t offer. So in that case, probably better that way since it wouldn’t have worked anyway.
@justcallmejon225 ай бұрын
I want so hard to disagree with this comment but I relate to it almost completely. If my crush likes someone who I preceive to be a different person than who I am, then it probably makes sense that we're not together 😅

INTJ will go through all three, freak out (maybe not sure how they feel), blackout of the relationship on there own accord (while wanting to leave it open to try again in the future and stay friends, yet be immovable on their decision you need to be apart to heal the issues). They will tell you they don't have feeling for you anymore as they continue to freak out as you pursue them until they crap out and you find yourselves no longer on speaking terms. Then years later you run into them and they go back to square one... proximity. They try to come off funny, cool, and put together while darting their eyes in your direction. At this point you'll ask yourself "was he always this arrogant and why is he looking at me like that when he tried so hard push me away," and you'll run away. By this point who the heck knows what's going on or what's going to happen? You can't tell if he likes you for sure or can tell you still have feelings under all the hurt and confusion since he is an INTJ and that means some unknown degree of obliviousness. Basically your need to work through hard issues as a team will conflict with with what they need or how they see things but you will have no idea exactly how because they probably don't even know.
@justcallmejon22 Жыл бұрын
INTJs are never constant so it makes sense that we may try a bit harder the next time when we feel that we're ready. I don't think it's a matter of not knowing but more along the lines of not being ready initially.
@namez2a Жыл бұрын
@@justcallmejon22 That could be the case and would make sense. I've seen him from a distance a couple times too. Once he just seems distracted from what he was doing and kept having to peel his eyes away. The next time was in the security line for an event. He was like 60 feet away but he was like a statue completely turned around and staring my direction. I pretty sure his friend had to nudge him to move forward. 😂 Since the first time he was interested in me he has always stared. It probally likely the things he said trying to discredit the relationship where a a combination between coping with the brakeup and the initial immaturity of not being ready. The contradictions have left me confused for so long that I'm probably overthinking the "obvious". Y'all INTJ's are a pice of work. I know us INFJ's are too. It's miraculous the two types ever get together. 😆 I don’t even know what one would say or do in this situation to get a relationship back on track...

I'm not so sure every INTJ would be shy. They like to laser focus on a certain problem or goal and find out the most efficient way to achieve it or solve it. Wouldn't relationships be the same way? INTJ's might not like to make a scene but will do so if they think it's neccessary, and don't give a rat's behind if people are around at that time. Would they make the first move? yeah probably not, but if push comes to shove, they will probably engage just as hard as they would do with their goals.
@justcallmejon222 жыл бұрын
Agreed and that's one of the key takeaways from the first section. We're taking initiative to make things happen but we make it seem like coincidence because we're not sure how we feel yet. Then when we get to section 3, then it's game on.
@Pinkywinkykinky Жыл бұрын
I'll be honest as an Enfp I can see someone I just met and already randomly think: "What if we had a wedding though?", even get a weird crush on a bully before so if I had things my way I would just outright say 'I love you' early on but there's all these darn social rules saying you have to know them longer to say that kind of stuff (to be fair I can lose and gain interest in things and people though)
@BashaerB-h2c Жыл бұрын
I know this might not make sense, but as an INTJ who perused someone I like I was both bold and shy at the same time. I made everything feel like a coincidence. But sometimes I would be direct and come up to that person to start small talk then direct it to deeper conversation. Usually I'm shy at the begining but slowly become more confident as the conversation goes on. I can even be very bold and at the end with sarcasm and animated gestures. However I go back to that shy state the next day and the cycle repeats itself until I get to know that person very well and can be comfortable around them.

We have been 1 year in a partnership , he anoys me but i can really put my hands on the table and say i trust this person with my life cause he is a real person and bad at lying 😊 its a charm and a chance for me as an Intj , he is also goal achiever and does the talking.. ill do the behind scenes

@@justcallmejon22 LOL, I had meant it as a joke. Typically, with my friends, I don't explain why I'm friends with them, but it's like, "I stalked you because I was too awkward to say Hi, and I wanted to make sure you were worth my time." It's meant endearingly, but whenever voiced, sounds really awkward. Side note: I love your videos. Your videos are amazing and I really like your vibes! I've watched like 8 of your vids tonight including others (hyperfocus haha it's 5 am now). I am an INFJ but I can't say for certain what the guy I'm interested in is, but I was thinking INTJ for a while and after tonight I'm like 99% sure xD I see so much of the traits and behaviors in him and had a few good a-ha moments as well. I have a bit of trauma brain and am a sensitive soul, but these vids have already given me a better understanding of him and may also help me not feel (as) offended/insecure/hurt by certain things he says or does (likely with the best intentions, he's a very warm and kind person). Overall he and I are in a rather peculiar situation, especially being the types that we are, that apparently I feel like sharing haha. We have been fwb's for like 6 years and I've known him for 8, though for the bigger part of those 6 years I only saw him once every half a year or so. Yes in some ways we clash and we certainy disagree on stuff regularly, but most of the time we're a very chill combo I think, and strangely I feel like we're still growing closer every time we hang out. There are many more parts to the story haha but I guess my point is... I feel like both of us are still not sure how exactly we're feeling or how (much) we want each other in our lives, although I myself think I'm getting a bit closer and I've been contemplating what a relationship with him would look like and also how he would envision that. If I look at my story with him I sometimes feel like "duhh if he didn't genuinly like you you wouldn't have gotten this far girl" but I still have many doubts too (Ni at work maybe? I'm still learning to master the cognitive functions lol). I do actually plan on gently (but clearly, if I have the guts) bringing up some of this stuff next time we meet, since we recently opened up about some things from the past. If in his rare sentimental moments he tells me things like how my hugs make everything okay again or joking how he wants me to only dream of him... there must be something to it, right? To be continued, lol
