It's one thing to know if a shear is bevel or convex, but how do you know if a shear should be convexed and another sharpener beveled it or if it was semi-convex or micro-beveled in the factory? This video will answer those questions.

Hi Bonnie! Been awhile! On the “chewed up” shear, based on its age & quality, I would turn into Super Salesman & show that client that closeup of its edges, and tell her/him they are beyond repair! Just my approach on that one!

Thanks for another selfless contribution! I would like to see a video that discusses which grit or grit progression to use, or if a progression to a fine grit (2000x) is really even necessary. So many choices. Also, what grit to use on the rideline, for example, when to use a 9 micron then a 5 micron, etc., or to just use one. Is there a place for having a rough rideline on some and very smooth on others?
