Your a legend Mate pity you don't live in New Zealand I've thrown so many faulty units out because it cost an arm and leg just to send it away. Local merchants advise buy new one (passes me off)

They just want to sell new ones, they don't have the mindset to provide actual service to units unless it's a warranty unit. It's either that, or they're charging way too much on repair quotes on purpose just so it makes you feel like you're better off buying another one.

I fix a Speedrite copy. The some issue. I put a External 2 A regulator in the case up the board and work fine.

I don't have anymore in stock. I'm not 100% sure if they're still offering that part. A new Patriot SG150 is what took it's place and they sell around $160 +/- Call up Datamars in Texas at 800-874-8494 and ask for repairs and see if they have it. Datamars is the main hub for the distribution of the Patriot brand, so if anybody has the part or can tell you if they're no longer available, they can.
