You flicked the component off-screen @11:16. I wound it back, knew it was gonna happen and still laughed. It briefly reappears @16:46 under the handle of the battery screw driver. Then it's under the cord.

@9:54 based on your experience, I assumed you tried a solder-sucker on these and it didn't work so well?

I use a solder sucker on rare occasions these days. Every place I've ever worked within the repair industry used chem wik desoldering braid, so that's what I'm used to. I've bought and lost so many of those solder suckers over the years, so I just stick with what I like. If you use good quality desoldering braid with rosin embedded into it, it works great.

I live about a medium cup of coffee drive from where that unit was sold. How odd I see somewhere close on this channel. I head down to that neck of the woods when I want to hit a real butcher shop and stock up on good meat. The Amish do not piss around with their products.
