I'm sure others have requested this but I have been hunting for a review of the Sans Water Purifier. I can't find any reviews anywhere not to mention a review as well done as your reviews are (so I'm sure it would be a highly viewed video)! Thank you!

Can you please please test shower filters as well? Berkey, Aquasana, HelloKlean, Jolie and Sprite r really popular but I’ve always wondered if they are actually effective and which filters might be the best option. Thankya!!

i know you use/recommend tap score for water testing. But are there any others you'd recommend? i want to do a whole house filter. The tank and installation is already going to cost me $1000. Id like to avoid another $500 for lab testing (one test before filter installed. one test after filter installed). Is there a decent lab test thats less than the $250 tap score charges?
@waterfilterguru22 күн бұрын
There are plenty of options available for lab testing your water. There are likely local labs in your area, and sometimes your city, county or state government provide testing services as well. Just make sure that the lab you choose is certified. I've found that Tap Score provides a more comprehensive analysis, testing for more analytes and providing a better picture of the water quality than any other service.

love your content! I have a question regarding gravity fed systems: I live a 2 minute walk away from a natural Spring in the Uk. I can go and collect the water from there for me and my family to drink whenever we like but im concerned about bacteria and harmful organisms that may be in the water- as i know this can sometimes occur even in natural springs and especially when surrounded by farmed fields (which we are). What would be your advice on the best gravity fed system to filter spring water, minimally but effectievly?
@waterfilterguru Жыл бұрын
You're right - just because the water comes bubbling up naturally from the ground does not mean it's fresh and clean. On the contrary, natural spring water can have all kinds of contaminants including microbiological, inorganic and even anthropogenic chemicals (like fertilizers and pesticides coming from those agricultural properties). The best way to identify proper treatment is with a lab test, then use the data to guide your purchase decision. For strictly removing microbiological contaminants with a gravity fed system, look for one that uses ceramic media.

I just found your channel today and love it. I'm just wondering though, is it possible to get the same equipment as a lab and what books would be best or course to teach on a professional level.
@waterfilterguru5 ай бұрын
Yes, it's possible to get industrial lab testing equipment, if you have the $$$! Plus you'd need training on how to use it properly. The WQA wqa.org/ is a good resource to learn about water quality at the professional level.

May I ask if you have reviewed Waterdrop Chubby 10-Cup Water Purifier Pitcher for its ability to reduce fluoride? I'm looking for a budget pitcher that reduce fluoride but won't remove every component like zerowater does.🙈

Total dissolved solids is just a report- ph is more important as a high tds and high ph can be good. Low ph and high tds can be real bad... Your test is just a glimpse and you need to use the intelligence properly.

Right on, which is why lab testing combined with on-site readings taken from digital instruments is so vitally important
