How To Test Your Pressure Converter BMW E60 F10 E90 F30 On M57 N57 Engines

Today we going to show, how to test and determine the condition of the newer type of pressure converter or vacuum valve on BMW, which are controlling the turbo-chargers wastegate. This valves/converters can be seen on E87 E60 E90 E63 E70 F10 F30 F32 F01 F07 and so on. They are used on BMW M57 and BMW N57 diesel engines. So lets see what is going to be the difference between: faulty/bad VS used known good VS new pressure converter.

Hi, thank you very much for your sharing, very good explained. I have got on my BMW F11 525D error 299100 Pressure converter turbine flap, activation open circuit. When I am running a diagnostic scanning tool, under charging datastream I can see sometime the Booster Pressure solenoid show 96 to 100 percent. But lately after the error 299100 is coming up the same solenoid show only 19 percent all the time. My engine has lost power and when I accelerate to 2000 rpm Drive train error pops up. My brake is working fine so i think my vacuum pump is good. Does the error mean my Booster pressure solenoid is broken? Original BMW part is PIERBURG 7.02256.27.0 , i think I have to buy a new one. What do you think? Any comments please:-))

What happened if the vacuum pressure not working in your car . I think the power of car is lost in regime motor. Can you explain me little bit more consequence of vaccum pressure defaults problems please. 🙏🏼🙏🏼🧐🧐

If you don't have vacuum, you will have probably issue with the brake pedal. But in overall no vacuum supply, means faulty vacuum pump

Facing same problem. I put new but it gets faulty in 5 days of usage. Again i bought new one then also its get faulty in 5 days. Supply currenr is ok. Vacuum pump also changed. No leakage found in line and still it is not suppling vacuum in OUT port. Help me

Add a cheap small inline fuel filter like for a lawn mower between valve and actuator, sometimes actuators produce some debris and it messes up pressure converter/solenoids. Or, your faults elsewhere and just miss diagnosed
