X-20A is an acrylic thinner. X-20 is an enamel thinner. I suppose he forgot the 'A'. Wondering why Tamiya and not any other thinner though.

No it’s not obvious when everything is said to be X20 but WeaselPaw is right by saying X20 is enamel thinner. X20A is acrylic. Could be a few clogged airbrushes should people follow that advice.@@AngelGiraldeZ

Por fin pude ver el video, el problema con las pinturas citadel acá en Chile es que son un poco caras, no se el resto del mundo, así que compro lo justo y necesario que necesito, generalmente son pinturas para efectos o algún contrast en particular. This looks so good! I really need to try your method I'm only basecoating with the airbrush so far. :> What I often do when I want to airbrush a citadel paint a lot is to just fill a new pot to the brim with the Army Painter Airbrush Medium and add two mixing balls. Then I shake it and it's the perfect consistency to apply straight from that pot. :D Then I often transfer it to a dropper bottle so I can refill more easily while airbrushing. I just ordered a new H&S Ultra because I tried to do some highlighting with my old airbrush but it is so imprecise. :D I love it for priming and varnishing but I think it's time for me to start the path of Evolution.

Por cierto, si me permites una idea para otro vídeo futuro. Creo que otro buen aporte para tod@s sería una guía para despintar antiguas minis (los primeros proyectos siempre suelen salir un desastre 😅). Pues conozco tres que mucha gente recomienda: alcohol etílico (creo que no es muy bueno), el decapante en 1-3 horas de Green Stuff World (suele ir muy bien, AK Tiene el equivalente pero el de Green Stuff està mejor valorado) y el producto Las Total Awesome que si lo probé y va muy bien, otro que no he probado y es muy recomendado es el Biostrip 20. Sólo se requiere usarlos en zonas despejadas con guantes (no son tóxicos pero si irritantes y los vapores siempre mejor evitarlos) y un cepillo de dientes viejo para los recovecos. Espero te llame la atención la idea. Como siempre gracias y un saludo.

When using Vallejo paints, I prefer to thin them with either their Vallejo thinner or water. As for AK paint, I find it to be better suited for brush painting rather than airbrushing.

@@alejandrolii317 No va al reves, esa muesca es un tope para que no pongas el dedo demasiado delante.Si te fijas en los videos, yo pongo el dedo detrás para que el peso de la propia yema del dedo me ayuda a presionar el gatillo hacia abajo y para atrás :)

Bonjour, il faut bien préciser qu'il faut utiliser le Thinner Tamiya X20A pour la peinture acrylique, le Thinner X20 est pour la peinture Enamel et ne fonctionne pas avec les peintures acrylique.

You don't need to dilute Vallejo primer? I'm just starting out with airbrushing and that primer just comes right off to the touch, maybe thinning it is why?

I think Vallejo recommends that the primer cure for a day or two for maximum adhesion. But we rarely have time for that.

@@neonraider es un robo lo que valen las pinturas y accesorios de miniaturas/modelismo. Y la culpa es nuestra porque lo compramos. Personalmente hago lo mismo que haces tu pero con una disolucion de 30% de isopropanol con agua destilada.

X-20 is for Enamel paint I think the brief and editing must be wrong it must be X-20A thinner. X-20A is water base Thinner/Reducer though is mad of butyl alchohol but it is water base thinner NOT X-20.

Depende mucho de tu forma de pintar, con algunas gotas va muy bien.Yo a veces le pongo un 60% de pintura y 40% de pintura porque quiero un acabado mas suave
