Everyday I try to tap into my te--I make schedules and I try to accomplish small goals and tasks that help me feel like I'm getting closer and closer to my long-term goals. I've been pretty good with reaching my goals and proving myself that I can be accomplished. I am still getting over my fear of being judged and humiliated but I've been pretty lucky that I have INTJ siblings that I'm very close with. My siblings help keep me logical and provide the inspiration to keep my butt moving, remain focused and stay grounded.

Your background music, combined with your voice has me feeling very Zen like; I almost forgot we were talking about brain function.

I'm smuggling neuroscience in and you don't even know it. Is the music too relaxing? lol

My bro is an ENTJ and in college he could work 30 a week and do school full time. He's the only person I know that could burn things from both sides of the candle. He also would party a lot and a womanizer. He's not a womanizer anymore though and has an INTP feyonce. As long as he's busy, he's happy.

Yup. My ExTJ friends are all work-horses. As an INFP, it's very impressive how much they can get done and how well they meet their goals.

Thank you man! I am an INTP and now I know there is a big difference between Ti and Te.

Same, I'm an INFP with inferior extroverted thinking and I would love to get better at it! I'm so bad at using Te! Thank you for making this video! I think the advice you gave will help me to exercise my Te a little more and hopefully I will develop it more!

+Angelica Gutierrez Hi!! It feels like a never ending struggle doesn't it? Let me know if you find any good techniques to share with everyone! And check out Dario Nardi's work if you want more information :)

Geek Psychology Thank you so much! I'll check out his work! If I find out any tips for developing Te, I'll let you know! So then you can let everyone know! Because it is like a never ending struggle for a lot of people out there probably xD I know it is for me haha xD I'm glad you understand what it is like! #thestruggleisreal

The fade to black at the end and letting the music play is a great touch man. Kudos. (also, INTJ, so Te user in the second slot - very pronounced in me though, good to get some insight in this area).

Good acurate description. I'm definitely an ESTJ. I don't typically closely identify with some of the descriptions of this type because apparently I'm more agreeable and lacking in testosterone than many other ESTJs. I feel like the Te types have a bad reputation which is confusing because you won't find many videos of these types criticizing other personalities for their immutable characteristics.

I'm hopeless at remembering dates and sequencing time. The only area of the brain I seem to really use that you mentioned is T3 as the feelers do. Thanks for this.

ENTJ mom with an ESTJ Son who has accurately corrected my facts since he was 2 yo. I found this strange behavior but let it go at the time. Interesting

Definitely suffer in the C3 area. Was nearly impossible for me to have clean memory for the Tekken moves. Hwoarang and his crazy legs were what gave me a chance. I could pull off some crazy combos and attacks that kept you on the ground or use Ni Te for unexpected attacks but would fail to a King attacker every time.

Just wondering, as an INFP Te is terrible. But I enjoy creating processes that allow for efficiency. I like creating systems to make life easier. It's not easy for me by any means, but I get a huge amount of satisfaction from finally finishing it (although my perfectionism never lets me stop tinkering). Also, although I like making them I think I like the IDEA of being more efficient and having a routine. But I kinda hate following it, even if I made it myself. Does this sound like 4th slot Te or do you think I've been mistyped?

Must say I find this brain stuff more interesting then the enneagram :) How would you powerlevel in say WoW? the only "Structure" you really have is "I want to reach endgame fast" I need to do alot of quests and i need to start "here" then it's just a step by step process. what TE excels at is thinking "do i have what i need for my next few steps? and when you have that under control you think of the big step that are sure to come later.. Like yes there is a structure there once you write it down, but in the moment you just follow the clear path ;) haha I got it!, you and your buddy can keep the Geomancers :P Im starting a 4D cartographer Guild! :D
@GeekPsychology8 жыл бұрын
Aw that's too bad. I'm really liking the Enneagram :o Good ideas about WoW. It's a matter of finding a guide and following it by taking the most efficient paths - very Te. A 4D cartographer guild?! idk what that is, but I want it in my life.

and when it explodes from keeping all the negative emotions or if an Fi does something they dont like, they just destroy and wound the Fi users and they are still happy and keep on going having no care in the world for how horrible they have destroyed our very being and life in all ways for the sake of keeping on going, not allowing us to make any personal value based decisions our entire childhood then we are left as an adult helpless and angry.
@GeekPsychology8 жыл бұрын
How you experience an event is almost entirely up to you. Don't let other people's energies and actions make you feel helpless and angry. And Fi dominants are certainly able to cause problems for Te dominants and anyone else as well. I've said some really mean things to people. Nobody is blameless for lack of compassion and unhealthy behaviors.
@justina23208 жыл бұрын
I kinda agree with that statement. I don't mean that they (Te's) are ruthless and we Fi's are pure and innocent (because we're not, I'm very likely to not think and act and hurt somebody by accident, while still meaning well). But what I've noticed is that my boyfriend (who's an entj, at least I think so) can't simply understand that sometimes all I need is emotional support instead of hearing "get over yourself, you gotta be strong". Like logical truth was the only way to work out world problems. But on the other hand he's the greatest when it comes to making decisions for me and always will take care of me the right way. Thanks for the video, you explained it all so well!
@Hi-xd5ox6 жыл бұрын
Hi Lindsay. Please do not put your experience on all Te dominants. There are many E(N/S)TJ's who love wholeheartedly and nurture the people and children around them and live harmonious lives with people at home and at work. There are other things at play apart from personality with people like upbringing, personal experiences, trauma,, self-awareness, morality etc, sounds like the people you speak of had other issues, like lack of empathy, and an overall narcissistic style of parenting from deep-seated emotional issues, which whoever you speak of, unfortunately, had to pay for with their childhood. That's personal and does not define the entire Te dominant population, thank you.

Neither? I’ve done everything in my power to not listen to anything he’s ever said and ignore everything he’s ever done, but after this comment I watched PART of an interview. kzbin.info/www/bejne/hp69m5SPmbhmnKM I see a lot for Ti-Fe and probably Se-Ni. I don’t feel any Fi there. No Ne either.
