THIS WAS A LIFE SAVER. I tied some loose coloured thread to help me keep up. Thanks buddy!

This is one of the nicest knots for making "grip knots" on barrel racing reins that I've found.. Thank you so much!

You're producing the clearest, most articulate paracord and knot instructionals I've seen, and there's a lot of competition out there. Great job.

Best how-to on this knot I've seen after MANY videos watched. Could never get this knot right until this (still took me three times). Thank you!

Haven’t made a crown knot in over 35 years. Started to make it and went absolutely blank. Once I saw your beginning step it all came flooding back! I paused and finished my tiny latigo suede knot, then watched the rest of your video instruction. Mine is slightly different, and sits very close to the rest of the braid, but glad to know your method as well. Nice neat finish! Well done! Thank you for getting me past the mental block. Have to take out my two remaining functional brain cells and rub them together to try and make a spark! Cheers!

Thank you for showing this, it's exactly what I need for a dogs' slip lead. it's wide enough to stop an o ring without being too bulky. My first choice, my favourite knot, the double footrope, was too bulky, the footrope was too slim, to stop the o ring, but this knot is perfect, I can at last finish making the slip leads

to get 4 colors did you fuse 2 colors together, twice?

do you have a video for the sinnet? I need to make a multicolor one and you seem to be the only one on KZbin that has made one.

Great tutorial, easy to follow with 1 and 2 colors. My question is, how do you attach 4 single color strands to a key ring without welding them together, is it possible? I'd love to see how you began the 4 color Crown Sinnet.
@WhyKnot8 жыл бұрын
I fused the cord together. The four colors were really just to make the knot tying easier to follow.

That's what I figured. Thanks WhyKnot!

After your crowning if you tie a foot rope knot before you tie this knot it makes a more pleasing knot as you don't have a gap between the two knots

i get lost at the last strand. Not sure what he means by "find the two verticle strands". What is verticle about those yellow and orange strands? I suppose if I copied his colors it would make "more sense.

Thanks for the video. But it's just a little to slow and to much back and forth. I'm trying to tie along but the stopping to explain is throwing me off . Maybe just tie smoothly while explaining but don't stop to show/talk about something you did before. 😉 thanks again for the video 👍
