Doesnt seem to show you using moisture when tightening the knots, i thought that was important? 🎣🎣🎣

Hi Ian. Thank you for the comment. You are right. I don't use moisture in the videos, but I always try to mention this vital step in the written instructions. It would be best to always moisten the knots 🪢 before tightening them. Without this step, you risk damaging the lines and possibly breaking them under tension

Why did you drill the boolie?

I think the popup sits better like this. It also makes the pressentation a bit different and this could give you a plus. It's just a personal preference. You can skipp the drilling part if you want. Thank you for the comment!

Your tying it the hardest way using the knotless knot is the best way can I ask why use use such high braking strain hooklink compared to mainline braking strain shouldn't we all fiah safe as possible like using 20lb mainline with 15lb hooklinks is the safest way to fish so all you ever loose is a hook

Thank you for your comment and for watching our video on how to tie a D-rig. We appreciate your input and suggestions. We understand that there are different ways to tie a D-rig, and we agree that the knotless knot can be a great option. However, in this particular video, we chose to showcase an alternative method that we find works well for us. Regarding the braking strain, you are correct that it's important to fish safely and use appropriate strength for both the mainline and the hooklink. In this video, we used a 15lbs line for demonstration purposes, but we agree that using a lower braking strength hooklink can be a good idea. We also want to let you know that we have another video on our channel that shows how to tie a D-rig in a simpler manner. We hope you'll check it out and find it helpful. Thanks again for your feedback and happy fishing!
