Wow a tile guy that doesn't cover up the diverter. 👏 👏 I'm a plumber and I ran into that problem today actually. Had to use my grinder to open up the hole to install the trim

That’s crazy! some vendors man they just don’t care about other vendors. Even when it takes us all to work together to provide a good product. I am a general contractor, so I see that kind of crap all the time but I try to make sure my plumbers and my tile guys are on the same page. My plumber has been working with me so long if he knows I’m doing the tile he already knows. I’m using hardy backer board, thin set to seal the seams. He knows what is going to be my finish reveal with Tile boom we get it done. But if I’m using another Tile Guy, that reveal is super important some guys like to float the shower enclosures out I don’t but some do. Man thanks for sharing your experience. Hopefully a lot of people read these comments and learn from them. Hope you don’t run into that crap today brother be safe 👍😎

@co-know-proconstructiontips and this was in a very nice expensive house. I could be wrong but I been doing plumbing and other aspects of construction for 23 years never seen that before

@@ericdraven4993 that’s crazy. It’s probably the new Kerdi board product. I’m not really sold on that product. If you ask me it seems too weak. It’s crazy what you see on really high-end homes man. I see some of the shoddiest work on some of the most expensive homes it blows my mind.
