Hello there, I have a quick question. When using Interactive Brokers in Canada to trade on the NYSE, is it necessary to maintain a balance in US dollars in your account, or is it possible to hold Canadian dollars (CAD), with the system automatically converting them whenever a profit or loss occurs? Additionally, if having a US dollar balance is a requirement, how does this impact taxation, especially considering the fluctuating exchange rates? Your insights on this matter would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

I assume you trade AMD instead of QQQ as AMD has a bit better volatility than QQQ and that makes for a better R:R?
