How to Train Your Sturgian

This video explains, though memes, how Sturgian recruits undergo training.
This Sturgian troop tree is true to vanilla game. The troop tree is much shorter now with only 3 tiers - the first being the basic recruit who upgrades into a specialized unit and then a elite upgrade for the specialized unit. Cavalry units are one tier up than their infantry counterparts and are exclusively 5th and 6th tier for most factions. This captures the idea that cavalry are harder to train and more expensive to maintain. Realistic Battle Mod is also used for, well, realism.

Hey man, I saw your comment. Stop being so negative on yourself. You've literally just started this channel. No one get's thousands upon thousands of views on their first few videos just starting a channel and just uploading. It just never happens. Instead, grind, create and have fun with it. If you're expecting success and growth as your first thing when starting KZbin you will burn yourself out faster than you should of. It should always be about the fun of it. My first video The Otomo Experience only exploded because I planned it. It was released at the start/height of global lockdowns where everyone was stuck inside because of the Pandemic. Shogun 2 was free on steam on time of release and was it's 9th anniversary. So all that probably helped. There isn't really anything you can do accept create and have fun doing it. It's not a success job overnight, especially with gaming channels. Just stick with it and have fun. The KZbin algorithm wont recommend you straight away because it recommends thousands upon thousands of others. An average of 2,500 new videos are uploaded to KZbin every minute, amounting to around 183 hours of video content. So yeah, it's going to be hard to be spotted. Just have fun and if it goes somewhere, it goes, if it doesn't, it doesn't. If you are planning on making stuff big fast, create stuff not created before (i know it's hard to think of something that hasn't been done before), which you enjoy and are passionate about. That's all you really can do. And hope people will enjoy it too! Hope this helped! :D

Good video. Now onto a different subject. I have a gripe with an echo chamber that has been brewing under the radar in the Banner-lord scene and I'd like to shed some light to people looking through the comments. I find it hilarious that there are individuals running around the banner-lord scene spouting nonsense of historical realism. Case in point being females fighting in a battle. This game's aim isn't to be "historically realistic". The entire point of this game is that you start as a literal nobody with barely anything and climbing your way up. Hell, they even let you play as female so I don't see any issue with female mercenaries, solders, and commanders. They even guise their arguments under notions of the first amendment which they have no clue how it exactly works. I've read comments about individuals being banned in Banner-lord servers for making comments on females in battles being historically unrealistic. Not every single space is grounds for "freedom of speech". It literally only applies to public real life spaces. Otherwise if its the internet or in private grounds then they are free to remove you from their private area for whatever reason. They own that space so they have the rights over what happens so long as they follow county, state, and federal laws. If you don't live in the States then your situation is different. Its real obvious someone is from the states when they make the "muh freedom of speech" argument. I've just rendered any rebuttal they have null. If the space you hang out in don't mind your comments then you were welcomed to stay. Just don't be an idiot when you are all of the sudden uninvited. Anyways, back on track to the whole "female" thing. I don't really care as long as the media content is an acceptable quality for me. If the content happens to turn out bad then I just don't partake in it any more. I don't see much reason to criticize if I don't have any intentions to delve into the profession. I watched Steven Universe for at least 4 seasons until I dropped it. I've watched Rick and Morty until I didn't like where it was going. I even seen the new Star Wars trilogy an think the first movie was decent. I never had any qualms over any "agenda" and I don't care because I don't find it very constructive to be an asshole over ideas. Don't hole yourself into any single faction. Its the sole reason why any wars happen. People disagree, they have a falling out, wars happen, and it caries on multiple generations later. Its what I assume Banner-lord aspires to be as a game. It still needs a lot of work to get to that level and It has come a long way since it came out. Anyways, nice vid and If you happen to come across these individuals kinda avoid them or illustrate the points I gave. Have a good day.

That's the idea. But it's going to be a long time before this is playable in campaign. It's very unbalanced as it stands. But then, so is vanilla bannerlord.

As far as I know, historically, they didn't. Rus lost and/or surrendered. Probably the same reason why Sturgia doesn't exist in Warband and is split between Vaegir and Nords.
