Thank you! This really helped. One thing to note is that you will need to turn off your cellular data connection on your Android device otherwise it will not work. Figured that the hard way as my Android kept showing authenticating for hours but once I turned off my cellular data connection, it took 5 minutes to complete the transfer.

This is the best . For around 4gb of watsapp data it took only 10 minutes in my local 50mbps plan wifi plan . This step should be followed from starting while we on the i phone . If we didnt did this step then we can erase everything and do it from beginning .

You most likely need a SIM card in both phones. Unless you have data put into one drive or a cloud. I’m not 100% tho. But that’s how I did mine

You need a sim card to receive the OPT but I suggest you to put the sim in an other device if you have just so that while in process you might some calls and process might stop. It happened to me I got a call and process stopped had to redo from start.

I did NOT read everyone else's comments so I will apologize if this has already been stated. On the MOVE to IOS App (first method) when the speaker casually says ("just skip all the steps") and go immediately to Apps and Data - he advances his video so quickly you can't see what he's doing. Problem is- if you are working for a company and they have assigned you a NEW i-Phone, you are NOT ALLOWED to skip these steps - the phone MAY be programmed with something called "REMOTE MANAGEMENT" and no matter WHAT you do- YOU ARE NOT ALLOWED to skip these steps. They will then FORCE you to install the remote management software which BY-PASSES the Apps and Data Option in which case you are back to having to factory reset the phone and the cycle begins again. Method 1 CANNOT be used if you are assigned a Corporately Managed Phone.
