Remember, you can only have so many Outstanding Offers. This method is best used when going after Phoenix boxes :). Or like, when I want something in my main from a fleet. I remember a time when the Dil Exchange was in the 300s. Alas, that time will never come again.

If you have a lifetime you can refine an extra 1k every 48 hours. For Fed toons at Starfleet Acadamy there's a dude standing near the entrance to the main building (where there's exchange, bank, etc.) which will do the refining for you. Experienced Miner or something like that. Since it's every 48hrs, we can say that you get an extra 1000 per day by cutting that extra 1k in half and adding with the extra daily 500 dil from the Fleet's Mine. I personally never have enough refined Dil since I'm alone in a fleet and taking on the projects by myself and I have to balance what I apply in the Fleet with what I use in my toons. Edit PS.: There's a time restraint on the extra 1k. They have to be not only lifetime, but have to have sometime playing the game before that's unlocked. Can't remember how much time now, but I'll have a look later.

just a side not, i hope for your sake youre not using your regular dil to feed into your fleet. the tour of duty reward for klingon adrmirality campaign i think it is (?) is 40k dil in fleet vouchers, so its like 40k refined dilithium that you can only use for fleet projects. there are a couple of really good admirality ships that you can get for the blue tokens from the phoenix prize pack. and the blue ones are pretty common. a single 10 pack for 40k dil as a one time investment probably gets you all the ones you want. if you get a nice large roster of admirality ships you should be able to get the 40k fleet dil about every 2 weeks since you should be able to power through regular missions + rerolls until the tour of duty missions pop up. especially the voth ship from the prize pack is pretty crazy with already good base stats as a t6, and then +50 on all stats when its sent out alone. it can do most but the highest difficulty missions by itself since it has almost 100 in every stat when alone. also look up the u.s.s. sally ride on the wiki. its just a free admirality t6 ship that anyone can pick up any time, if you dont have it. ive seen comments from veteran players who didnt know this even exists.

@@Stone7C1 I did have to highly specialize in the admiralty and Doff systems in order to get it going. Sometimes I complement with regular dil, but that's rare. Prefer to spend dil in fleet gear or Phoenix boxes, but some goes into crafting as well. I'm always going for klingon and ferengi campaigns over and over again. But thanks for the tips anyways :)

@@Stone7C1 oh yeah! O totally get it. And if new players are reading this, I highly recommend you DON'T do what I'm doing LOL! Look for an already established fleet you feel fits you best. I'm only doing this because it was a fleet a few friends and I created a long time ago, but which most everyone else stopped played (myself included for a long while) and I decided to keep at it for reasons even I don't understand lol.

Can I make a suggestion when purchasing Zen. In the past, I did as I presume a lot do and simply bought the Zen at the lowest cost. However, there's nothing stopping you from putting in a slightly lower Dilithium value, in order to get more Zen for your Dilithium. I keep a close eye on the cost and on console the price can alter dramatically depending on time of day, the day, and whatever's going on in the game. For example, during upgrade weekends the price can change a lot. When I suggest putting in a Dilithium value lower than whatever's currently listed, it goes without saying that the value has to realistic based on the current price and having a decent enough understanding of the price fluctuations throughout the week, and during special events. If you're the type that puts low value items up on the market for outrageous prices please ignore this whole message! Currently I'm saving up for a ship, which is an awkward time as I've just recently created two new characters, having not completed a third started a couple of months ago. To make matters worse, (in a good way!!!) this weekend the game on my system is running one of those discounted upgrade periods. Long story short, while I desperately need to do a lot of purchasing of gear and upgrading, this weekend will prove more profitable to convert Dilithium to Zen because a large percentage of players will take advantage of the upgrade weekend and use their Dilithium, thus reducing the Zen value by essentially starving the market. And presumably the really smart 'market-players' that are buying and selling Zen they'll be buying as much as they can afford this weekend in order to sell it when the price rockets on occasions. Back to my original comment; I never buy Zen at the lowest cost, I buy it lower. Today the price has fluctuated between 332 and 335. With yesterday's Dilithium collection (from a number of characters) I put my Dilithium up for 330. About two hours later it had converted. The market currently sits at 332 and having just found out about the upgrade weekend and predicting the market will drop this weekend I've put my Dilithium up for 328. Being a game-market people are either pay no attention and outright don't care, or just buy their success/virtual toys with the pay-to-win system. But being a little conscious, a little bit smarter and you can maximise your virtual resources. In a game where people are falling over themselves to increase stats by tiny amounts, why not have the same attitude with the virtual currency. Or not, and just spend real money and pay-to-win/earn!!!

Some one . . . Doesnt have a life time subscription . . . Wonder who that is? 🤔 I dont either 😂 To much money for not enough game value for myself personally. Nice video! Always extremely informative! Always like how you encourage and have community help also. This game is so vast! That's what makes it so great!
@quantumjet253

As others have pointed out; Having the Lifetime subscription means you can refine an extra 500 dilithium a day, albeit 1000 every other day. And if you have multiple characters the cost of purchasing the sub can quickly pay for itself. Being in a fleet and having that subscription means every week eight characters end up with the dilithium of 10 characters (that were not in a Fleet and you didn't have a Lifetime subscription), or four would produce the equivalent of five! I don't know; I think it's worthwhile if you have several characters and play regularly enough.

If I buy $200 of Zen, I get nicked for $16.25 in NY tax too. So, I would like to cancel that out, so that the Zen-3000 bulk bonus buy is an actual 3K bonus, not chopped by tax.

@MC Stu So I checked out the buying zen this morning and there are no offers. Where do I start the trade for DIL to Zen? 300 DIL for 1 zen or 500 DIL for Zen? It seems that all the work I put in to farm DIL is not worth it. Because even at 498 DIL, I need 249,000 DIL to get 500 ZEN. That is a lot of work in game for that amount. afew hours maybe? I could save time by getting a side job in the real world, and just pay for the zen. What do you all think? Thank you.

You are correct, from a time stand point if you grind for dil to exchange for Zen, it equated to somewhere around $1 per hour.

Now imagine the dil exchange around 301 dil per zen.... Instead of needing around 10 milion dil for a 10th ani leg bundle (on sale) you'd only need around 6 million... It will most likely never go back to that.....

Where exactly can you buy the shared bank account? Tried under slots/services and items and for the life of me I cant find it. I did find account shared bank slots, but that is it.
@quantumjet253
@quantumjet253 2 жыл бұрын
This video was slightly confusing as the 'shared bank account' is nothing to do with the Zen/Dilithium exchange. I don't think the way transferring/sharing of Dilithium was explained was particularly easy to follow for those unfamiliar with the process. Regarding the 'shared bank account'; this is actually the character's second inventory, the fixed location one available at your character faction's home base, inside your ship, at each Fleet location and also available from the trade ship available when moving around the galaxy. When you purchase the 'Elite Services Starter Pack' in the Zen Store, under 'Slots/Services' this gives you 36 Inventory Slots; your character's personal inventory, available to you from anywhere in the game. The pack also includes 36 'bank' slots. This is the fixed inventory that is only accessible from your ship, your faction's home base, and the 'trading' ship. So the 'bank' is essentially the fixed location inventory, and is nothing to do with the Zen/Dilithium exchange. You'll also see in the Zen store that you can separately purchase 12 Bank slots, which increases that fixed-base inventory, 12 Inventory slots, which is the character's personal inventory, and 10 Account Shared Bank slots. This is fixed location inventory that can be accessed by all the characters. For example, if you wanted to transfer an item from one character to another you could use this Shared Bank inventory. Alternatively, you could use the Mail, mailing the items to any of your character's email makes it available to all of them. I've just made a lot of use of the Shared Bank as I've created a new character and it's been supplied purple (decent) quality crafted, everything, from another character. I placed the items in here and when I swopped to the new character they obviously had access to the shared bank and so I was able to efficiently transfer the items. I use it a lot. Anything that is used regularly by any character, crafted ship batteries, things like lock boxes, Contraband, everything required for upgrading equipment there; stuff every character either uses regularly or will at some point need access to. The same for the character's money. Each has some on them, but the majority is held at the joint bank and makes it easier for me to see exactly how much I (they, all) have! So back to the Zen/Dilithium exchange. All of your characters are using the same account. There's no benefit or point in separating their Zen or processed Dilithium. I keep all of my characters Dilithium here for storage. Unlike the video I keep the numbers simple. It doesn't matter which character any of it has come from, no more than it does who it gets spent on. Ultimately it's all 'my' dilithium or Zen, and there's no point it being separated. To answer your actual question; opposite the exchange in Starfleet are two terminals that will bring up a dialogue box 'Access Bank' is where you'll find the 'Bank' (the character's personal/private fixed location inventory), Account Bank (the joint inventory available to all characters) and the Fleet Bank (never used it but it works the same way as the Account Bank but for every character that's in the Fleet, if the Fleet top dog has allowed everyone access!). There's one somewhere on your ship; it's location depends on ship type, and bridge layout. Plus at each of the Fleet locations there'll be one.

so... this isnt really helpful if u dont have zen and ur trying to get it without paying real money, but its like a few other game markets of sell it cheap and swap over (hopefully b4 someone else buys it). they really need to add an official way. i mean, we can share credits, why not dilithium?
