Please stop with the clickbait. You can't really transition without hormones period. Your mind will never change chemically. I'm almost 4 years on it and will vouch. I know you've been on it longer, but you're a beta, a soft little boy before this... you were never a man. An alpha. Period. So stfu.

Have you ever tried a handheld light based hair remover? There’s some really good ones for about $200 usd. I know it sounds like a lot up front, but you’re likely spending multiple hundreds a year on razors and shaving gel already. They’ll last for quite a few years if you take care of it, and for me it’s definitely the only thing I’ll use now. I tried about 6 different options of Nair type products from multiple companies, and Nair was by far the worst but they all gave me horrible rashes and burns. I also cannot stand shaving, the razer burns are horrific on my skin and I wasted hundreds trying to find a razer/shaving gel combination that would work. Nothing did. For $200 usd up front and just having to spend 10 mins going over my body with the light based hair remover is…… it’s insanely life changing.
@johnnyrocket1685 Жыл бұрын
The more you use it the longer your hair will stay gone as well. It’s basically softly burning the hair follicle with light, so over time you’ll go from using it once a day, to once a week.

I'm quite lucky that I've a very close friend who's a transman whom went to beautician school during his childhood and transitioning at the same time and luckily we've the same height and feet size. So we've just been swapping shoes and other stuff and teaching each other stuff. Bonus tip. For people who aren't confident in going to a saloon nor painting your nails in any flashy colors (or any colors). simply getting a base coat for your nails is enough. it gives the feeling and just makes your nails pop a bit more ^^

With mannerisms I do want to point out there are also quite a load of women who have "masculine deviant traits". Like those seen in punk. So if that's your thing, going for typical feminine mannerisms is probably not as good as to see what works for the women who portray "masculine traits", while obviously still feminine. And... well, haircut... heh... I'm balding, so wigs is probably my first go to. But thank you so much! These videos are really helpful! 🥰🥰

This is a great topic. We were discussing something similar in the support group the other day about ways to transition without the use of hormones and how it could be helpful for those that either don't want to start hormones or can't access them due to location and or situation. It may be the only option for some people and that can lead to some feeling of hopelessness. I know from personal experience. A few weeks past bottom surgery myself and although very happy with it I would like to have had these tips prior to being able to being physical transitioning. I'd been turning to more natural supplements over the past year prior to surgery and had actually been doing very well on those without my shots and assuming those will help a lot more now that surgery is done but I digress that's neither here nor there. I just want to again thank you for your content it's so uplifting and hopeful. A few of my coworkers watch your videos now as I have told them about how helpful they have been for me. Two of my co-workers are parents of trans individuals that want to transition but don't want to take hormones to do so which I totally support. Hopefully they'll find this video helpful to them as well.

This is very timely since I am presently pursuing elements of social transition as a way to help decide if I want to take the step into HRT. One thing I have found helpful is look to information geared toward cis women who have your unique traits. For example, I just entered my 50s so some of the conventional makeup advice seen online is not all that helpful. The wing or cat-eye look many trans women adopt to lift their eyes doesn't work on older eyes that may have age lines or looser skin. So... looking up something like, "eyeliner for women over 50" helps find information more unique to my situation and helps cultivate a look that doesn't make me look like I'm trying to present as a 20 year old. Similarly, finding pictures of cis women who share your traits can be helpful in that it can be affirming and you can see how they present. It might be finding pics of women with a heavy brow or deep smile lines. In my case, as someone who shaves their head and does not intend to wear wigs - thus negating the ability to get a feminine haircut - I sometimes use a search term like "mature bald woman" and see all of these women who absolutely rock a shaved head. It helps me think, "I CAN do this." Not only that, but I can look at how they do their makeup and accessorize with things like bold earrings. (The makeup can be tricky when you don't have a hairline to serve as a stopping point for it.) So, I guess the key point is for every girl out there thinking, "I can't transition because XYZ," whether that's age, the size of their brow or nose, broad shoulders, or so forth there are cis women that contend with the same things. Look to what they do and learn from it to help dial in a presentation that works for your uniqueness regardless of whether you hope or plan to do HRT, FFS, and so forth. Y'all got this!

I'll just say this. It's all good saying don't buy hormones when you live in a country where it's all free. Try the United Kingdom where a typical NHS waiting list is longer than 6 years for a first appointment and 7 to 9 years for a hormone prescription, if they agree to prescribe it. For some people, it's a choice between living with "illegal" hormones or not living. Truth.

You lost me the moment you took out that IPL machine. It's not effective babe. You still have to shave everytime u need to use the ipl machine. The laser in that machine is not concentrated s its not as effective as real laser on a clinic. You're just wasting your time using an IPL machine at home. and no it's not effective.
@HollowSun11 ай бұрын
I can't say it works perfectly yet, but I've seen very real improvement with mine. I definitely still have to shave, but I used to shave in the morning and be noticeably hairy again by the evening. A few months in I'm still shaving but I only have to do it every few days. Idk if it'll ever be a complete removal; but even if it's not, it's done a lot for me. Important to keep in mind, I have light skin and dark hair, which is kind of the ideal for IPL. Unfortunately it doesn't work as well for people with darker skin and/or lighter hair.
@livingaloneinatinyhome11 ай бұрын
@@HollowSun even if u go for lasers on clinics they will shave u everytime before they use laser on you. It's a prerequisite. Laser light will not penetrate and kill the root of your hair if your hair is too long. The purpose of laser is to damange the root of every hair make it sick and then make other hairs beside it sick as well so they stop growing. That's why u need multiple treatments on clinics. Cause even with the best lasers they can't determine the growth season of all of your hair correctly. IPL is not targeted so you'll need more time using it than that in clinics. IPL will never stop your hair growth. I'm fair skinned black hair also. I had to go to a property clinic to get lasers done for 6 sessions. I used IPL machine like this for over a year without any develpoments. Now I'm just using my IPL machine to maintain and make sure they will never grow back. Just know that shaving is important. And even though it's you're 6 or 10 sessions... As long as u still have hair growth u still need to shave it everytime before applying laser to help the laser penetrate the root of your hair. If one is looking for fast and effective hair reduction or laser treatment they have to go to a clinic. Make sure they are not just using IPL machine.
