Yes, it's okay for your eVisa to be linked to your BRP. In fact, it's the way the new eVisa system works for BRP holders. You'll need to create a UKVI account to access your eVisa, and your BRP will be used to verify your identity.

@@UKknowledgeGuru Hi, can I ask a question? I've linked my BRP to my E-visa account as well but all BRP's will expire December 31, 2024. I'm going for a holiday back home and will be back by 3rd week January 2025. Will I have a problem in the immigration if my BRP is expired? For some reason, I cannot add my passport as another ID document in my E-visa. I already have a SETTLED status in the UK. Thanks in advance.

I'm confused... So, an eVisa is basically when I log in my wife account, the tab that has her photo and shows Indefinite Leave To Remain, prove immigration status, get a share code, etc? She is brazilian, when we applied for pre-settled status 5 years ago, back, we used her passport which lasts 10 years, now she received settled status now on 5th September, applied for new BRC with the settled status, added her BRC which expires on 31st December 2024. The tab you described sounds like the "Manage your immigration status" section on the UK government's website. This is where you can access information about your immigration status, including your BRC expiry date, and get a share code for your partner if they need to apply for a visa. However, it's important to note that a pre-settled status is not the same as an eVisa. Since your wife has already received settled status, she doesn't need an eVisa to travel to the UK. Settled status gives her the right to live and work in the UK indefinitely. Since I got only partial information from your comment bit If her BRC expires on December 31, 2024, she will need to apply for a new one before it expires. The new BRC will usually be valid for five years. Hope this helps...

@@UKknowledgeGuru Thank you for the fast reply. The pre settled status BRC expired 1sr October 2024, so I applied for a new one before the expire date since she received the settled status,. Had her appointment on 20th September, the new card came on 27th September, but all BRC physical cards expire 31/12/2024, because we brought her minor son and applied for his pre settled BRC which arrived March, and has the same date.
