Topo 40L Travel Bag. It's perfectly rectangular and with those packing cubes that fit in there like a glove, I've got a very efficient setup. But I've managed to reduce the amount of things that I'm carrying by so much over the last 3 years, I might see if I can fit into that 30L for trips in the warmer months where I don't need to bring my coat. At this point the shoes are working against me the most. For Mexico, I bring Suavs (packable shoes), Teva sandals, water shoes, and thin rubber flip flops for showers. I don't think I can do without any of those.

10! Its a SADF pattern 70. I roll pants , tshirts and surf shorts on bottom, towel and toiletry on top, ipad pro , tech cube, nighstand cube, snacks and 2 shirts inside, right pocket for EDC, left for water bottle. Its a perfect weekender that can be stretched to a week worth of clothes mixing and matching

Great stuff! I wish I'd had this information before my world tour in 1995. My bag was almost as tall as I am. And my friend bought 8 ceramic bowls at our first stop in London. I thought she'd shipped them home, but no, she still had them at our last stop in Italy 2 weeks later! "Pack light" was never something I understood until I found this channel.

I find these videos interesting every time you guys do them because some of the tips that you guys give are the exact opposite of what I choose. Not that there's a wrong way to one bag travel or anything but I generally prefer bags that don't look like squares because they typically scream I have everything I own in my bag and a more traditional looking backpack screams this is just my Daypack nothing to see here. It's not perfect but I like the aesthetic better and I feel like I stand out a lot less to pick pockets. I also prefer bags that are not clamshell-style because I found that most of them because the zipper goes across the bottom of your bag they tend to sag weirdly, even if you pack strategically. I had one once and while it was a great bag, I always had to pack it a little funky to get it to carry comfortably and the second I put a tablet in the front pocket, all my careful weight distribution didn't really matter.
@ignazs.58162 жыл бұрын
I dont like clamshell either because if the zipper fails, all your stuff will fall out when you least expect it.

I am using the Osprey Farpoint 40 but sometimes I feel like I am filling it up too much. It is comfortable and also the hip belt strap helps to not carry all the weight on the shoulders. I usually use it for trips from 2 days to 25 days. I like the quality it has, although perhaps there is a better backpack.

I noticed that most of your TSA videos are geared toward young able bodied travelers. My husband and I are in our late 60's. He has to have wheelchair assist when traveling, plus he has to travel with his box of medications which have to be in his backpack to store under seat. It is a fumbling, living nightmare for me to traverse through TSA PRE-CHECK, or worse, regular TSA because pre-check isn't available sometimes. I have to put his stuff in bins as well as mine, then try to stuff it all back in afterwards because they rush us so fast. Any handy tips for us older travelers. I'd love to get some recommendations for complicated travelers in wheelchairs, or using crutches or physically challenged from disability or strokes.

Hey Pack Hacker! I absolutely Love all your videos especially the ones about packing. We all have different gear so it’s cool to see how we pack it. Lately I travel with a Tom Bihn Aeronaut 30 or the Tri-Star by Tom Bihn (both in burnt orange lol). Along with a personal item like the TB co pilot or a vintage chrome mini messenger bag 😉Both main bags are 30 / 33 liters so I have learned how to cut down and being only what I need. Do you primarily us 30 Liters? What’s your hi to bag? Now my friends bringing steamer trunks 😂 on vacation make up tons of excuses and it’s hysterical lol, But what is your feeling on rolling luggage? I still have a Genius pack 21”. Just curious as to when you would consider using it? Thanks!! 😉. Kevin
