How do you deal with trying to be less wasteful but your family/housemates aren't really on board?
@RogueGoneVogue7 жыл бұрын
Hey Kim! Good question. I think it's important to remember that being Zero Waste is your choice, not theirs. You can lead a horse to water, but you can't make it drink. In my experience if you focus on yourself and all that which is in your control, after a year, my friends and family started to akin to my lifestyle. It takes time and patience. Oh, and never preach! Always let people ask. Hope any of this helps! Xx

Totally agree with Jojo! I would also add that when I first started I tried to make it fun for my friends/family, hosting zero waste dinner parties or offering to do grocery shopping with my parents and show them how to do it zero waste! This helped enormously in showing them how fun and easy it could be :) xx

I never heard that you are allowed to bring your water bottles BEHIND the secruity check! In Germany you HAVE to throw away your refillable water bottles or tea cannes!

For vegan leather bags, do they degrade?
@RogueGoneVogue7 жыл бұрын
Depends one which ones you buy! You can get vegan leather grown from mushrooms (how cool!?) which does, or plastic based ones which don’t. Usually the tag will tell you! Also price: mushroom leather is more expensive than ‘pleather’. xxx

While I applaud the zero waste movement, I don't get how using a throw-away item is worse than flying on an airplane.

Hi Kelly! Travelling is rather unavoidable in the 21st century: so we do our best and offset our carbon footprint by donating accordingly. Check out the link in the description to learn about it! 🌱🌿🍃

Why would you travel zero waste? The carbon cost for just traveling is pretty high too. Happy you're doing ok though!
