I used to have really oily skin but now I have normal skin more or less. Here’s what helped me: 1. Moisturising properly- using an oil at night helped balancing my oil levels. Using a creamy moisturiser rather than a gel also moisturised my skin enough that it didn’t need to produce too much of it’s own oil. 2. Using a face wash for dry skin- gel/ foam cleansers can strip the skin by removing all the oils from the face. A hydrating cleanser cleanses the face gently and also provides a bit of hydration, making my skin super soft. 3. Stopping Clay masks+ Exfoliating regularly- exfoliating is more than enough to remove the dead skin that holds on to excess oil. Clay masks just dry out the skin without doing anything beneficial in my opinion. Hope this helps!💕

So I had horribly oily skin, I would look like a grease ball within an hour of washing my face, now my skin is more normal, with a healthy glow within 8 hours of washing my face. I did it by: 1. Established a moisturizing routine routine (yes, with my oily skin, I use a sheet mask every day, hyaluronic serum and a gel treatment, moisturizer, night mask or oil) 2. Keeping it cleaned 3. Introduced actives (salicylic acid & lactic acids) 4. Starting healing (vitamin C)

Been wanting to ask about the inkey list hyaluronic acid hydrating serum. Although the directions are super simple I’m not sure if I apply it before or after I moisturize. This video is super helpful as an oily girl. Thank you again for the insight. 😘🖤

Question about makeup.. I’ve been using a gel oil free moisturizer with an oil free foundation. Should I be using oil based products instead? The thought makes me cringe because my skin gets oily wayy faster when I do this but will it adjust?
