Tip to de-stress: make sure you are getting 8 hours of sleep That was the leading cause of my hair thining: I would stay up gaming late at night, sleeping 3 to 4 hours a night and trying to catch up on sleep on my weekends off. It took 2 weeks but as soon as I abstained from my addiction and started training and sleeping 8 to 10 hours a night again consistently my hair grew back to its normal thickness. Watch your caffeine consumption too: it blocks your body's ability to process the chemical element selenium responsible for skin, hair and nail health. Probably best to quit caffeine too

I had the exact same issue, i would game or go on twitch for 8-10 hours a day. I had to stop this because i wanted to paint my room, had to disconnect all entertainment appliances to my room, because of me being a noob at painting it is taking forever me to paint my walls, at least this giving me 8 hours of sleep now 😂 😂and now i am noticing in my receded area, baby hair coming out!

My hair had started falling out like crazy. I mean, it was everywhere, all the time, and it filled the drain more than I had ever seen! For me, two things stopped my hair falling out. One, I stopped using Selsun Blue with selenium. Boom. Within about a week, hair stopped falling out. (I had read that the selenium could cause hair to fall out excessively, and in my case, it seems that was the problem. Funny, I was only using it because I did really like how it made my hair itself do, not because I had dandruff or dry scalp.) And second, I started 2000 mg fish oil daily, and I soon began to grow lots of new baby hair around my hairline. My hair does not seem thicker, but it has stopped getting thinner. However, by starting the two interventions at the same time, I have no way to determine if stopping the old shampoo, or starting the fish oil, or both together, is the reason my hair stopped falling out.

I use Nutrafol, bondiboost growth system which they also offer procapil for hair growth and my hair was thinning like crazy and now it’s thick as it was when I was a teen and finally growing again. My issues major stress, bleaching hair, I did a strict keto diet, and washed 2-3 times a week. I also have a family history of thinning hair. I cut back to bleaching only every 10 weeks washing my hair only once a week and adding the things above it took about 6 months to get where I am now. I do believe the vitamins helped a lot and using more natural shampoo’s.

@@alexaluma6104 I normally just use agadir oil it’s a little bit heavy and not everyone likes that but it seals my ends and leaves my hair soft. You could also try a co-wash it’s a mix of shampoo and conditioner and it’s easier on the hair. I personally don’t use Iron pills but I have read lots about iron deficiency and hair loss but my problems seems to be more stress related. Also update my hair is still getting thicker and growing but if I miss the Nutrafol for more than a week my hair loss will go from those random hairs to slowly increasing in loss. This may be due to probiotics in mine that are supposed to help with stress and gut health.

I don’t want to give advice I don’t have knowledge to but maybe you need to be on a higher dose of iron? Or maybe your body doesn’t absorb it well enough there should be info on how you could help that as well. I don't know about PRP for hair but after suffering with Plantar Fasciitis for 3 years and multiple podiatrist and PT visits I decided to try PRP. It worked. I'm cured. It usually takes 3 rounds but my PF was so bad I had to do six treatments. It's been four years since and the PF has not returned. I can even go back to my 10 mile walks with no pain.

@@creativegirl9710 truuuue! I use to be vegetarian for a while, even went vegan for a very short while. My hair was falling and grew back thin, my nails were brittle and my skin dry and itchy af. After introducing poultry, meat and butter back to my diet, also Omega3, everything got better. Even my hairdresser mentioned that my hair felt thicker. Suitable diet is a good solution, but it's not a fast one. Took 4-6 months to reverse the damage done on the plant based diet, didn't suit me at all! My body works better on a omnivore diet, been on it for the past 3 or so years, never going back.

Most biotin vitamins I’ve come across need to be taken with food. If it’s a multi vitamin most likely not. Also, certain vitamins can’t be taken with certain drinks (acidic drinks not liquor lol) or there are some that work better with a certain drink.

I've seen a lot of thin hair over the years due to breakage by over shampooing and damaging hair. First and easiest thing to do is skip some shampoos and only use a wet comb or brush to detangle gently when wet. Wet hair stretches twice it's usual length and if overstretched too much it won't bounce back, it'll break. Also keratin!! Lots of keratin.

I am surpriced you didnt mention scalp massage, as I have used it very successfully and have done the following to restore the hair I lost: scalp massage everyday for 15-20 minutes, collagen supplement 2x per day, using the Taoist soap bar for hair growth 2-3 times a week, fragrance free shampoo on other days, nettle tea everyday. This combination was prescribed to me by an oriental medical doctor, not a western doctor, and have never looked back. I have since helped all my friends and family to improve their hair with the above regime. Results took about 2-3 months to fully show, but my mom noticed my hair improvement on maybe the first month, but i didn't believe her that time. I had covid 3 months ago and it breaks my heart every time I brush my hair or take a shower and see how much of my hair falls off so I'm in desperate need of help

I had it too and thankfully,no hair loss. BUT I get stupid breakouts around my nostrils and my teeth hurt near the gum line. It still comes and goes and always both at the same time. It's been like six months since I had covid. I feel for you.

I mixed the rosemary oil with minoxidil and it works really well, my scalp is not dry and itchy anymore as a side effect of minoxidil.

We bought the laser cap for my son 7 months ago. He not only has not grown more hair, he has lost much more hair! He is only 19! I feel very bad that I cannot do anything for him.

Hi from NEPAL, I am a female 40plus. Mix onion hair oil with little castrol oil and apply on your hair. Shampoo it after 1hr. Trust me you will DEFINITELY see the results. Do it once once or twice a week.
