How To Tune Suspension in Forza Horizon 4 ( WHEEL USER SPECIAL ) GRIP / RACE SET UPS

Hi and Welcome to WheelSpin TV. Today i will be showing you how to tune your car for races otherwise known as grip tuning. This will work on all Forza games. This can work for controller users but is primarily for wheel users (Thrustmaster TMX / T500 / Logitech g920 etc on Xbox one ). You know this helped me a lot. Wasn't 6 months ago I finally bought a horizon game..and now. Well...found I don't need to buy those slower tunes people post. Seriously...learn to tune. My gt in fh5 is rated way way faster with just me building it and tuning it. Not to mention it increased in handling significantly. People will post tunes..but they always hold back so they can beat you.

When you have done it a few times it isn't that bad 👍, I usually do a car in about 10/15 minutes tops. Once you know most the numbers you can whizz threw with just a calculator and Google.

Thank you sir. You are awesome! I've been struggling trying to tune the corvette ZR1 19' with so much wheel spin and oversteer when trying to drive fast that you explained so well, I have much better control. I am still struggling however as the transmission on it is an 8spd and I kind of used your set up so 7th and 8th seems useless. I use a wheel as well and have been messing with the settings to see if that helps too.

@@wheelspintv6864 thanks again. RWD on this car is stupid for racing competitively. I've tried everything but the wheel spin is ridiculous even at stock power. There's absolutely no grip when exiting a corner yet I see drivers in GT series having no problem getting on it early. Maybe it's just my driving..... Anyways thanks for the reply.

They maybe have Traction control on. Lengthening your gears out will also help. Some RWD cars are a handful and will need lots of fettling. Some of my Favourites are the BMW GTS and Ferrari TDF . I'm loving the GTS at mo. I do have a Tune available for it. Check out my game HUB URXP LDN for tunes if you struggle with them 😎👊

@@wheelspintv6864 yeah I'm slowly figuring out that European/JDM cars just have the handles over American cars... I spec'd out a Senna and the c8 20' Corvette with relatively the same the power/weight ratio and the Senna just gets so much faster lap times. I'm just going to have to submit to them... I did put traction control on, much better performance like you said. Thank you again. I'm new to Forza series as I grew up playing games like NFS so it's like learning a whole new part of racing and I'm having a blast with it especially with a racing wheel now!

The Downforce is huge on a Senna in comparison to a C8. Senna is probably one of the best handling cars on the game. The Ford GT Welcome pack and Mclaren P1is also really good 😎👊

Will this still work with metric settings? As in Km/h and the tyre pressure is in kilopascals not psi for example

This formula doesn’t work for fh5 right? I’m trying to build some GT3 cars in fh5 and I’m new to tuning (literally tried it for the first time today) and it’s a bit hard to get a feeling of how the car should handle etc…

Hi and thanks for tuning in 😎👍 I have been using this formula in FH5 and seems to be going OK. The only difference is Diff and anti roll bar tuning. I've left the anti roll ars standard but moved them up 10 each and the differentials I e left standard race diff settings. Im still trying to perfect it before I put a video out 👍

I have a hard time grip racing on the wheel. I tend to spin out all the time. I am good at drifting but suck at grip. Is this a wheel setting over car tune error?

I use the same settings for both but with my Grip cars they are all set up with these maths and using the telementry. Some cars are alot better then others. One of my favourites at the moment is a E92 M3 GTS

Here's how to tune in this fucking game: Go to conversions, and swap everything you can so your car will have an op engine and AWD, then go to aero and slap on the ricer aero, then go to engine and upgrade everything

I play with others online (mainly club members) and we compete in Class racing I.E A800,S1,S2 etc and to be able to be competitive you need to have the car drive how you want.Each to there own I guess but I prefer to tune my cars to how I want them to behave. I try not to use the forza aero unless I have to but in some cases its a must. I have very few "maxed cars" unless there Hypercars or just fun cars.

Rebound is 50 - 75% of bump stiffness. So when you do your calculations you can multiply your answer by 0.50 / 0.75 to get the correct answer. I was using Google Percentage Calculator but using this multiplication works the same 👍

No you shouldn't 👍 it should work on all cars with the Controller, I think you can actually take it further i.e lower tyre pressure etc due to max turning on flick of the joystick.

If you look in the left window when looking at cars, where it tells you BHP / weight etc it will say for example front 56%. Which means 56% front 44% rear. Then multiply 0.56 for front and 0.44 for rear, I hope this helps.
