How to tune a drift car in Forza horizon 4 ( suspension set up / diff tuning / gear tuning )

Hi and welcome to WheelSpinTV , today i will be showing you the best way to tune your drift car. We will go through the maths required to set up your suspension ,how to tune your gears and how to tune your differential and everything in between. This will improve your drifting ability and make you understand each individual setting. I will be playing on a Xbox one s ,tuning and drifting a 92 Nissan Silvia using a Thrustmaster TMX wheel / t3pa pedals / th8a shifter on a Playseat challenge. First guide I've found that actually explains in detail what each upgrade/tune will do to the car while discussing alternatives as well. I've been pretty discouraged at my drifting with the wheel when compared to the controller but I've been studying up on your guides and have a lot more hope now.

mate for someone who knows all this you should be running an aftermarket wheel! also thanks for being one of the only guys to get right down into detail as to what all this means & what does what when you change it. this will help a lot those that don’t know and if they do it the way you did it by actually calculating your cars weight because that plays alot in getting your car to sit the way you want it to when you are entering/mid/exiting corners.

on differential i would recommend 90-100% accel and decel is 100% preference, i would try 85 and mess with it for if you want it to straighten out easier or not, change it by like 5% at a time

I usually start around 75/85 and adjust from there , if the back end needs to go out further and easier I'll adjust it up from there at 5% a time.

I have tuned track cars, but drift cars... its completely different. Track cars are more personal and lots of laps lol. This is alot more technical.

Try running more negative camber in the front like negative 4 degrees and lower the tire pressure in the rear to what suits you best. I personally run 15psi on the tires on most of my drift tunes. It really depends on you, tuning it to you to the point that its very enjoyable to drift.

Hi and thanks for tuning in. Use toe out on the front , this gives you more steering angle. Reduce tyre pressure for more grip on rear. Also reduce damping , spring rate and rebound on the rear to gain more grip. You can also raise the front height in comparison to the rear to allow more angle. Also try reducing your Differential on acceleration. All of this combined will get you sideways 😎👊

Hi and thanks for commenting 👊 I'm using the Xbox screen recorder with a SD card formated to record 1 hr at 1080p . I Use my Samsung 10 for Wheel view and a Headset for Audio. I then edit on Premier Pro and upload 👍 Hope that helps. I've just ordered a Gopro 8 black to try and improve the quality and getting prepared for some motorbike POV videos 👍

It's a bala license between throttle and steering. If your spinning put its either to much throttle , to little steering or a combination of both. Keep at it I'm sure you will get the hang of it 😎👊

Hi 👋, I have the TH8A shifter, there are lots of Mods available via Ricmotech that make it feel "real" . I havent used any other shifter to compare though.

I dont know what to say to that 🤣 its English I promise 🙈 The maths is Max - Min x Weight ratio + Min = setting So if the car was 46% front you would do Max - Min x 0.46 + Min for front and x 0.54 for rear. Then your rebound would be 60% of that setting. Hope that helps anymore Info you will need a "Londoner" Translator 🤣👊

I was lucky enough to be one of the people who hot 200 super wheelspins which profited around 70 million. But otherwise I do find money easy to get if your into drifting 😎. If you use a M6 forza edition and max out the perks, go for a drifting session untill you his 7x 70k points then bank it. Repeat this for a week regularly and then buy a Porsche 911 3.3, in the perks you can get 1x wheelspin and £150k profit each one you buy. It's an easy £2/3 mill and 30 wheelspins a week 😎👍
