How to turn off the seatbelt warning alarm in late model Toyota vehicles using our XTOOL D8!!

I have personally verified that this procedure will work on 2007+ Toyota Vehicles! We used an Xtool D8 to perform this procedure, but any bi-directional scan tool should be able to get this done!

Cool tip but you know snapon won a lawsuit and autel and the other generic scanners will be bricked but they are allowed to sell their in stock scanners and update service until short period of time hopefully people still ha a couple of years 😢

How do you change the chime to something else? hate the sound. I just use a seat belt extension to disable my buzzer.

I found another guy who's got an updated scan too and he actually pulled ECU parameters and he and I went through the list and shut off all 5 seatbelt sensors. The problem is I can't get the light on the dash to turn off. Can you tell me how to get the little tiny red seatbelt man to turn off on the dash?

Thanks for the vid. It worked for my vitz (yaris) for the seatbelts chime but the reverse gear beep didn't work. Still beeps even though the tablet set it to OFF. Any ideas I could try ?

Or like half of the country, you have a mile long driveway, maybe you’re hunting on logging roads, There’s actually a lot of little situations where you don’t need your seatbelt at all and that goddamn buzzer keeps going off and it’s enough to make you wanna blow your car up. People don’t want this buzzer off because they don’t wear their seatbelt nowadays they can get a ticket. has nothing to fucking do with that. Has everything to do with that brief moment in a parking lot or the other examples that I gave they want the goddamn thing off has nothing to do with wearing your fukcing seatbelt
