In addition, I suggests replacing the thermal paste with Honeywell PTM7950 phase-change material is more thermally conductive than the best pastes. Replace low performance thermopads with gummy thermal paste Laird 607 or Upsiren U6 Pro.

The Honeywell PTM7950 is awesome! I wouldn't touch anything other than termal pads, the putty pads or thermal putty.....DO NOT USE!

After applying your undervolting profile When I open my gya v and loading the game after few second or minute my game crashed How can I fix that pls help
@Btech94 Жыл бұрын
This depends on the silicone of each device. Seems like your device cant undevalt like mine. You can use install 3d mark to check stability while undervolting. Go to custom present and undervolt the gpu by -5mv each time. If it's stable you can decrease anothe -5mv.

How did you do that through the Radeon Software? Is it because you have connected to an external monitor? Can we have the same tuning settings through the laptop display?
@Btech94 Жыл бұрын
You mean The undervalting part ? No it not because of monitor. It's because of I've unlocked and changed the Radeon driver bios.

@@Btech94 oh, is there any way to do it? Any tutorial or anything?

hello. Is it possible to completely disable descrette grafics on this model? and run only with integrated grafics, to extend battery time? Does it have that option in bios or in software?
@Btech94 Жыл бұрын
You can disable discrete graphics via device manager. But while it's disable the hdmi port will wont work. But this won't give a extended battery life since it only wakes when playing a game or rendering a video either way. For normal tasks the discrete graphics is always disabled by default on battery power
@user-nc9or8xc2s Жыл бұрын
@@Btech94 I thought that GPU takes some power even if it disabled in device manager. for example in Asus notebooks you can disable it by Asus software and it even not visible in device manager. How do you think, huw much time this dell will last on battery, playing games with only integrated grafics?
@Btech94 Жыл бұрын
@@user-nc9or8xc2s there is so few you can do on 51whr battery. Even on gaming hand held consoles with like rx 680m igpu the took around 25w when it's CPU TDP set to 15w. So for gaming laptops that amount is like 35w minimum. So no if you disable the discrete graphics still you want be able get 2hrs of game time from the laptop. Exept for really lite games. Normally discrete graphics takes around 12w to 30w on battery (depending on the game intensiveness). Still you can game around hours or so

What about Ryzen Controller ???
@Btech94 Жыл бұрын
It doesn't undervolt. Just change the tdp and boost times. But it's pretty great when gaming. 25w with 80'c on CPU works best for me when gaming.
