I really love this vid on the topic. I encountered this term when learning on different religions like Mandaeism and the Yazidis. This was a really good vid.

@@BoredBookAddict👍I am glad you liked it, and yes the use of these terms are very useful to use to understand religions, as it makes comparisons between ones own and others easier to understand and explain. Also, Mandaeism and the Yazidism, always interesting to hear about someone that has had an interest in the less known religions of the Middle East 👍.

It makes sense that Islam is the combination of the two. Though leaning more to Orthopraxy. Judaism I definitely see as almost purely Orthopraxy as well as religions like Hinduism.

Yes that is pretty much it, though all major religious traditions have sects and groups that might be classified more in one category than others so exceptions do exist even here.
