How to unlock your Leatherman Blades

So, if you open a second tool half way on the same handle, the second tool lifts opens lock so that you can close blade without a butter knife ;)

So you basically need to a spare pen knife or small screwdriver with you ??

Evidently you need to not open (and lock) all the blades of a handle.

If you have one locked out can you pull one down halfway when it opens up for you to close the one that is locked in

That does work but if you pull out another blade that’s in the knife to a certain point it releases the blade. You can feel the tension as you start the to release the lock.

I can't believe anyone thinks this ridiculous solution is the way that tool was designed. If your blade is locked into place, pull one of the other tools halfway out which will leverage that lock open. Leatherman should have come up with a better release, but at least you don't need a damn butter knife from your wife's drawer! 😂
